Some guys have asked this before (*cough* ME!) but not to get anybody mad or anything... I guess it doesn't matter what shoes you have depending on your position. It's what you like the most. (feel) But, if you want to know...

Mercurial Vapor = Speed/Agility FORWARD
Predator Pulse = Long shots/Curving MIDFIELD/DEFENDER
F50 = (I'm not sure but what I've heard...) Good Protection DEFENDER
AZT 90 lll = Uh... um... hm... Long shots/Curving?!?! MIDFIELD

That's just my opinion... (what I've heard from other shoe forums)

P.S. -- I hope thats what you were asking...

Hey I remember hearing this before, but what are the Total 90 III's regularaly described as?

I just go for as light as possible and longlasting (preferably).

I also like to have 1 pair of Soft ground boots (that is metal screw-in studs) for wet-weather pitches - and one pair of firm ground - for normal pitches - I know in Holland all the players usually have another pair for the synthetic surfaces.

Yeah, according to Nike Totals are for the mid-fielder/attacking defender and Mercurials are for the striker or attacking mid-fielder. Copa Mundials are tried and trusted... so many pros use stand by them.

Yea I love my Total 90's, but they are a half-size to big, so I'm in a delima. Its either keep the Total 90's that are a half-size to big (which were free) or get a new pair (that I'll have to pay for) that are the right size.

Why not sell the T90s to someone (so, no matter what you're making a profit if you got them for free), and buy a new pair? Half-size too big is quite a bit!

I have a pair of adidas Predator Pulse SG.But I used them only 5 times. The stud of the shoes often drop from the bottom.

Well these cleats probably wouldn't get me much more than what I payed for them. I've definately worn this cleats, and they are pretty "broken-in". I like those cleats and can play well in them, but like you said half a size is alot, and I may play better with the size I really need.

Huofo, and if you've only worn them 5 times and the studs fall out, you should return them to where you bought them and tell them of the default.

i bought the total 90 II's 2 years ago, they are still in good condition.

i have the pulses, which i wear on special occasions

and just last week i bought the umbro owen 10s, imo almost as good as the nike adidas shoes, but waaaay cheaper.

Just to add, Umbro/Puma/Diadora are just 3 under-rated cleats that can compete with Nike and Adiddas in comfort, touch, and grip, but just aren't as well THOUGHT of, or not as well endorsed.

Maximus, I'm just wondering, but what is the cultural difference like? I mean I know Canada has alot of French ancestory, but does that make it any harder to learn their culture?

penguin_007

hmmm...french culture? well most french people here can speak fluent english. but the english people can't speak french. lol

but theres a lot of multicultural thing going on here, and french is an official language in canada.

so i speak chinese, english, and french.
