I've been looking all over the internet for step by step soccer moves. I know how to do many of the common tricks such as the scissors, knife, maradona (SP?) but I want to try other "harder" ones. If you know a site or a video clip that can help me improve on my skills, can you please post them? Thanks. :bald:

This site, http://www.strongsoccer.com/Kingdrills/clipspractice.htm, is pretty helpful . I'm surprised you didn't find it looking all over the net since it's pretty popular :).

On a side note, although these "harder" tricks do help to improve ball control and give a good touch/feel on the ball, the simple tricks (shoulder drops, stepover, etc.) are VERY effective and efficient to use during the game as opposed to the harder ones.

And since there are new rules in place that don't allow me to post another forum link (which would be MUCH more efficient here... :annoyed:) :

Gah, look at all those moves, and I want to look at them all, but so little time...

New Move:
Put your right foot on-top the ball, then roll the ball to the right until it rolls on-top of your foot then pop it up, and in the same motion jump to the right, carrying the ball with you.

Rema I tried right-clicking/saving those clips, but it just saves the website not the movie, and when I click the link it takes me to the same website, can you give me some help.

I think thats kinda stupid how we can't post the link to another forum? Any Moderator wanta elaborate on WHY that is so?

I agree, I don't think it's a good rule but c'est la vie.

Also, copy and paste this (don't just click it) and try the "right click, save as" thing - http://jaime.footballclips.net/. I'd check myself to see if it works but I can't watch videos on this computer.

Oh, and if you do figure it out, let me know :).

And another good site for soccer tricks is http://www.soccershowdown.com/index2.htm. You have to register, but it's free. I think it has both air and ground moves, but it's basically freestyle. Still a good site!

Ha! That's pretty cool. (the new move) About a month ago I was trying to make new tricks, and I ended up with that same thing... except that I couldn't think of anything else to do with the ball once it was in the air (excluding the jump to the right thing) except juggling with it but then I thought that you might as well roll the ball back and flick it up to save the trouble. Thanks!

Yea I do alot of pen-and-paper soccer. And for some reason that REALLY helps me make up new moves.

New:
Put foot on-top the ball roll it back and flip it up (just like you would get it up for juggling but do it about waist-high) then bend your leg at the knee so your heel comes back up to hit the ball. The ball should go over the defender's head.

More Details- after you pop it up, bend your right knee so that your heel comes back toward your butt, but instead of letting your heel hit your butt, move slightly to the right (to clear your waist) and hit the ball.

I'm sorry... could you explain that in more DETAIL??? I don't get that part where your heel comes out of nowhere and hits it...

Yeah, apparently you have to do this; "Copy and paste the link to your url (address bar) and then add ".zip" to the end."

Try that :).
