hey guys.
i hurt my ankle a week ago and it's not getting a whole lot better, but i'm just icing it and resting so hopefully it'll be better in the next week or so. but in that time i was wondering what i could do to improve my game. i can juggle a little without it hurting and do some light touches ecspecially with my left foot-the weaker one. but no sharp cuts, acceleration, or hard shots. i was thinking about buying a video called "footablility", does anyone know anything about this one and if it's worth it, and also if i can do some of the stuff in it? please respond

Not really sure if any videos are worth it because you can't get much practice by wasting your time sitting on the couch! But just rest up, go see a PT/doctor to see when you should be getting back on it (too early = high injury risk, and generally worse than the last injury).

Just watch a lot of soccer, no need to buy movies, I've spent a lot of time injured this year, and onyone I knowcan vouch for me, but I just stiudied my favorite footballers by watching them on T.V. You might want to spend your extra time tryuing to strengthen your ankle rather than trying to improve your skills. DO exersizes with your ankle, stretch it, work wiith it's range of motion so you don;t re injure it again. The choice is yours, but that's just an idea of what you coulod do :p

Yeah man, Link's right, you should try and strengthen the muscle.

Also, I've just started using swimming for rehab, and I dont think there is anything better than it. Good whole body work-out and it doesnt ***k with the injury.

VERY GOOD IDEA, if you have access to a pool, you should definitly swimm around in it, best way to rehabilitate any injury.

i think im all healed from my sprained ankle. yesterday i had one of my better games. didn't score, but hit the crossbar 4 times. i definitely felt better. and all that upper body strength i gained really came in handy.

Although having that kind of attitude isn't always a bad thing, you should never just take risks on injuries if you aren't sure how serious/mild it is.

Plus the fact that we ALREADY have something in common.

But Ole, have you seen that "ole" commercial where they start playing through-out the stadium? Classic, but I had to download it since we don't get those kinda commercials in America.
