Sept 2, in Germany. (Saturday)
This is it. WC time, last WC we missed it by 1 point. Germany is aging but I belive they have rebounded (as much as humanly possible).
One important thing is injuries:
Machlas-out
Dabizas-out
Nikolaidis-Boycott
Kasapis-Boycott
On the bright side Greek Youth have been included in the squad. This is there chance:
Choutos-Olympiakos
Karagounis-Panathinaikos
Patsatzoglou-Olympiakos
Elefhteropoulos-Olympiakos
All first "mens" WC campaigns. Eleftheropoulos in goal will lift the team tremendously. Houtos up top will help alot. His speed I belive is waaay to much for the Germans. I hope him and Lymberopoulos can do some damge. Karagounis and Patsatzoglou probably won't start but look for them to come on as subs.
Here's my starting line-up in Germany:
----Lymberopoulos-------Houtos-----------
----------------Tsartas---------------------
Georgatos----------------------Georgiadis
---------------Poursanidis-----------------
Venetidis-----------------------Mavrogenidis-
-----------Goumas---Ouzounidis---------
-------------Eleftheropoulos-----------------
It looks good except for Ouzounidis. I have no idea why Danil picks him,he's old and slow. Anyway Georgato and Georgiadi can use the speed out there because they are alot faster than the Germs. Tsartas is our playemake and should do a good job setting up Lymbe and Houtos.
These are our warriors, let the battle begin!
As for predictions...I have no idea
