Starting line-up?

Well,it looks good for the NT.All the Greek Teams,OSFP,PAO,AEK all are looking to go deep into Europe and thats always good for the NT.

Our opponents,England,Germany,Finland,Albania...Our chances,GOOD! Most of our competition uses a 3-5-2 formation.So thats what I think Greece should do.Here's my line-up:

chris i think that is a killer starting line-up... if they gel properly we are the best team in the group!! i truly think so.

there are a couple of players that i think should also be given chances, or should be kept as reserves:
karagounis
dellas
venetidis
antzas
goumas
nalitzis.

there is another possibility. i don't know how long you've been following greek soccer chris, but 3 years ago, an player of AEK, one of the best greek players we've had lately Xristos Kostis, was injured during a european game. he has been out of fields for 3 years. but now AEK is giving hima new chance, he is just 28 years old, and his body is in good condition (which is why AEK agreed to have him back). if he recovers his game to anything close to what it was in 1997, he will be an incredibly important asset for the NAtional Team, because Xristos is a leader

Georgatos and Georgiadis I think are gonna give any team some big problems in the middle with there speed.Tsartas behind Machlas and Limberopoulos is gonna be awsome!And the defense looks alot better now.

Chris,

I prefer the 4-4-2 line-up especially when we play away. THe second line-up is good and I would look at Giannakopoulos sharing the responsibility with Georgiadis. Tsartas will be ideal behind the main strikers. He has an eye for goal so expect him to get a few.

Nalitzis should also be given a chance along with Venetidis who are strong players as well. Poursanidis as sweeper is ok. OVerall, Daniil can go with a few options but I think the best option playing away would be to mark tight and catch them on the break.
