Who do you think has the best free-kick in the world (maybe a little obvious question lol) ... but here is my top 5

1. Mihajlovic (The King)
2. Beckham (god i hate him, but his free kicks are world class)
3. Veron (thumb up, great player)
4. Del Piero (he's not in form currently but watch him shine next season)
5. Batigol (may be controversial but he is one of my fav. players and one of the best kickerz)

I would have picked Chilavert also , hehe but i dont see a lot about him but from what i saw his free-kicks are great :cool:

i guess you should put carlos in there, although he really doesn't score that much from free kicks. but in my opinion beckham is the best in the world when it comes to the set pieces.

I know carlos doesnt score much but he still has an amazing kick though ! when it comes through ones, like 1/50 times it hits the net ! I dont think Beckham is even close to Mihajlovic!

Mihajlovic had i believe 11 free kick goals last season !
This season he has around 5 or 6 till now, although his free kicks have not been AS terrific as last season, i am sure he will score a few again next season!

Mihaijlovic up until recently was the best kick taker. He seems to be struggling lately, but as players get older, this is inevitable.

Beckham is good, but not nearly the threat that Mihaijlovic is.

Roberto Carlos just has a hard shot. He kicks as hard as he can and hopes for the best. I seriously doubt that even he knows where his kicks are going.

I don't like Beckham, but his free kicks are great to watch because they aren't all power. Mihajlovic is fantastic, and Roberto Carlos' free kicks are hard! I love watching them.

in my opinion beckham probably has the best free-kick in the world, but mihaijlovic is pretty close. also no one's mentioned gianfranco zola, he had the serie a record for the most f/ks scored until last season.

2.Nakamura (His left foot is killer, he proved tht VS Brazil in confed 2005)

I think both Carlos and Beckham have become overrated. I remember Beckham used to be awesome, but I havent seen much from him lately - tho he does consistently deliver good corners etc.

Pierre Van Hooijdonk must be added to the list and even more so Juninho from Lyon, statistically, I think, he is the best free-kick taker in the world.

Batigol IMO was not much of a free kick specialist. Totti also should be in that list.
