Who can forget Hierro? He won 6 leagues and 3 european cups. He left madrid in 2003 (we never won anything after that) and went to play for Bolton Wanderers. Now at age 37 he is going to play his final game against Everton and retire. He's a legend in my book.

Bolton doesn't want him to leave, they want him for another year. But it seems he has decided to retire.

I'd really like it more if people posted sources.

So, could you post a source so we could read more about it?

Anyways, he's getting old and isn't in the best form. He was a great Madrid and Spanish player, shame to see him go.

They celebrated his carrer before yesturday's game, Real Madrid Vs Atletico Madrid.

Bolton wanted to sign him up for another year, but Hierro refused. Bolton coach said that he is not happy with his decision since he belives Hierro is still a great player even at the age of 37. Bolton can play in the UEFA cup competition next season, and Hierro was one of their key players this season.

And you actually believe him?? He might be lying, lying to not put the name of Real Madrid down, despite that it was only one single man who kicked him out.....now he retired so what's he gonna gain by starting a media fight with Perez??

He's a wise guy and he loves so much Madrid that he will keep his mouth shut if he has ever to speak badly about the club.
