This year the Greek championship all-star game (Greeks vs foreigners) will take place at Pankritio stadium of Iraklion on 17 may.

More than 15.000 fans have already cast their votes to name the players and coaches to participate in the PIRAEUS BANK ALL STAR GAME. According to the up-to-date results, the following have been voted in the first places of each category:

GOALKEEPERS
Greek: Nikopolidis, Sifakis, Chiotis, Amparis
Foreigners: Galinovic, Drobny, Ebede, Pizanovski

DEFENDERS
Greek: Anatolakis, Goumas, Georgatos, Vyntra, Zampropoulos
Foreigners: Munch, Alves, Schurrer, Morris, Henriksen

MIDFIELDERS
Greek: Katsouranis, Basinas, Stoltidis, Barkoglou, Lagos
Foreigners: Rivaldo, Djordjevic, Gonzalez, Luciano, Assunsao

FORWARDS

The 18-man squads are to be formed through the voting; namely, 4 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, 4 forwards and 2 coaches.

The voting is to be concluded on 10 May, whilst the match will be staged at the Pankritio stadium of Irakleion on Tuesday 17 May

The names of the players and coaches to participate in the PIRAEUS BANK ALL STAR GAME -to take place on Tuesday 17 May, 21:00, at the Pankrition stadium of Heraklion- were made known today at the Press conference held at the King George Hotel. The match will be broadcasted by ALPHA TV channel.

451 A΄ Division players and all the A΄ Division coaches were voted by fans, whilst 12 top-flight clubs are represented in the 18-man teams formed. More than 22.000 people voted, including fans from Australia, Japan, China, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt and other countries.
Rivaldo, Santos, Luciano, Nikopolidis, Soares, Djordjevic, Katsouranis, Ogunsoto, Galinovic and Munch received the largest numbers of votes. The two 18-man squads follow:

Foreign players
Goalkeepers: Galinovic, Drobny, Pizanovski, Ebede
Defenders: Munch, Alves, Udeze, Moris, Megahed
Midfielders: Rivaldo, Luciano, Djordjevic, Gonzalez, Assunsao

It should be noted that each coach has the right to choose two players in order for the final 22-man squads to be completed.

The price of the match tickets has been set to 10 euros. Tickets can be found at the Heraklion Regional Football Clubs Union offices, the Pankritio stadium, the Heraklion Bowling Center, the Lions square, as well as central PRO-PO agencies of Heraklion.

First half finished now. One of the worse games in the history of All Star Game.

The linesmen ruin the game they have given about 10 off-sides. They are strict like it is a cup final :D .

Foreigners won 3-1. (Ogunsoto, Sanmartean and Bresca scored for them, Gekas for Greek/Cypriots). The first half Greeks were superior the second the oposite.

P.S. That is the first time that foreigners win in Greek All Star game history.
