I can only really go by what i read coz coverage here is crap, could'nt really pick one above the rest but i'd also consider Lincoln of schalke, makaay of bayern and marek mintal who could finish as top scorer.

I can understand what you are saying... this seaosn has been rather dull in terms of individual brilliance, even the goals which generally were concentrated between 2-3 players are being scored by more.
yes, I admit too that marek mintal could finish top scorer, but his club is nowhere. He looks like a 1 season wonder.

Makaay because he scored a hat-trick last game and is better then everyone else in the bundesliga. :silly:

Marek Mintal (22 goals, 5 assists), its not easy to score goals so consistently when you are in a comparitively weak team. Also he is a midfielder and has scored more than some strikers like Koller and Ailton.

I would go for Ballack...he has been brilliant (with his scoring too) over the the last league matches and cup ties
Makaay wasn't as good as last year, but could feature...
Lincoln is a nominee (the main reason Schalke is still hanging to 2nd)
Marcelinho is a must, as he was the thrust behind Hertha's ascendancy.

yup.. sorry i missed out on marcelinho... :D
though he's second top scorer, the problem with him is that he isnt consistent. He scores a double or a hatrick in a game and then doesnt contribute much for the next couple of games.
but he combines excellently with basturk.. shades of the ballack- basturk combination of bayer in 2002

ALI KARIMI FROM IRAN :p
Ali Karimi joined this season. this poll was for the last season. Ali karimi's performance against hannover was quite impressive. He had created some space for himself twice, but couldnt finish right.

ALI KARIMI FROM IRAN :p
Ali Karimi: 7 games, 1 goal, 2 assists.
Michael Ballack: 6 games, 3 goals, 1 assist.
Can you see the difference, my friend? :)

I must say that i don't have the opportunity of seeing B-liga. But, from what I read in the papers I would be inclined for Ballack (we all saw what Bayern did without him: a single goal in every match) and Poldi (from here it seems that he is the main reason that Koln remain in the 1. B-liga).

Lukas Podolski. He is a goal machine that will keep koln going for a while. Koln needs defence thogh.

i totally agree.... plus he also brings luck everytime he is inyured bayern lost the match or win with a 1 goal difference.....but Bastian Schweinsteiger is also a great player that marks a big difference in bayern at every match...

For me unquestionably Ballack.
He's not a player for one match every now and then. He's always there!
I decided to vote for him here before it's to late ...

hehe... guys, beinlich was a good player when he played for rostock or, before he was injured, berlin... but now he is a player without any special capabilities.. he is nomore the player that he gives him a good chance for the national team, he is just only a settled player and thats why he is so important for the HSV! and his freekicks are very very exactly, he has still a good shoot technic...
ballack is a little bit overrate... he is a player who is not always fair, but he is strong in the air... but i think he isn't a world class player...
the same is with schweinsteiger... and kuranyi? haha he is very very bad player and he looks like a transsexuall person...:D
and ailton is fat, but he is very fast forward who always, wherever he plays, make his goals. for me its one of the best forwards in the last 10 years in germany.
but i see, that this thread is an old thread... ;)

Sergej Barbarez(Hamburg SV) he just joined Bayer Leverkuzen few weeks ago.
Scored 10 goals in 2005/06 season, and he was key player in Hamburg SV.
He did some great things for that team !!
Few years ago he was TOP scorer in Bundesliga together with Ebbe Sand(Schalke 04 at the time).

I havent seen much of the Bundesliga this season, but i do feel Schweinsteiger has lifted to be in that top 5, so therefore has been the best player this season.
Ballack was already up there last season and has been just as consistent.
