I launched this thread to help each other find more things about Germany's fotballing future.
For example I read great things in the German media about Christian Muller or Roberto Hilbert. Some of you may have watched them play. That opportunity I haven't had!
What about: Jan Ingwer Carlsen-Bracker, Peter Trochowski, Steffan Kiessling, Aaron Hunt, Michael Delura or Mike Hanke. Maybe you know more than me, as constant trackers of German football.

of those you have mentioned.. I find Peter Trochowski, the only one with a reasonable chance of making it into wc06. he played in the u-19 wc in 2003, where our NT didnt play that well, but he shone.

Also there is cristoph metzelders younger brother, who plays at youth team at borussia. they say he is strong, tall and fast, and one of the best prospects for a central defender. Berliner Morgenpost sport editor Hasso Rudel says he is like jurgen kohler.

hi,
the only one with a real chance for 2006 is Mike Hanke from Schalke 04.
he`s a very big talent and he had made his first goals in the bundesliga.
one or two times he also was in the kader of klinsmanns a-team.

I dont think he has been put in squad for confederations cup yet. I think they will take lauth instead. Maybe, he has to prove himself more next season.

Oh yes, and btw: Welcome to SFN and keep posting in the German section.

German youth team (Under 20) will play this years U-20 Word Cup in the Netherlands!?!
I mean Argentina is to strong for this generation, but the other Group opponents USA and Egypt r the teams to beat if u wanna reach next round.
