Who are some of the most underrated players in the world?

I bet a lot of you people are going to disagree with me on this, but I think Ronaldo is underrated. Most people think he's not that good and does nothing for his team. Just because he gets injured, people think he's not a good player. They think he's overrated. Ronaldo is an excellent player. he is a great player, but because of his injuries it makes him much less valuable to a team.

I agree with you guys. Ronaldo is overrated by some but underrated by others (especially Brazilian fans).

I personally think Ronaldo is too over-rated!

a person that I really thing is underrated is Darko Kovacevic(Juventus & Yugoslavia), the guy scores basiclly evey 90 minutes of play and is still on the bench...
he should replace Del-Piero.

Baggio is underrated a great ammount by Lippi. At least he's not underrated by the fans.

I completely agree, Tariq. Lippi needs to have more respect for him, but hey, the fans can't complain a whole lot now with Recoba's playing.

Oguro, Okubo, Nakazawa and Miyamoto are all underrated. Okubo single handidly saved Mallorca from regulation and he's still playing becnh warmer! :mad2:

Mantzios. He still young and needs more experience in the champions league but he made some key goals for Panathinaikos. Anyways hes preety underated and is a bit of a bench warmer.

The most underrated player right now in the world is.

Ali Karimi. He has guided Bayern Munich to their winning streak this season, he scored, assisted many goals and as the Asian player of the year, Iran's best midfielder, and one of the most talented midfielders in the world. He does not get enough recognition among the mainstream media.

i think Cisse is kinda underrated. And ya Karimi Good :) . Wiltord, Govou and Giuly also underrated. Giuly the man that should get on a post everytime he play. :mad2:

Good selection, I'd add Dietmar Hamann, Bonaventure Kalou, Luca Toni and Wesley Sneijder to that list, and Steve Jennings.

yes..Camoranesi is one of the best in right wing. Super passes...And Gattuso is one of the best CM, but I belive lot people think so.

Ibrahimovic (He's a candidate for this year FIFA Player of the year, but that's it. He deserves just as much fame as Ronaldinho)

Bolic (he plays in Turkish second division :boo: )
