Place for Panathinaikos' new stadium

The cheating must be over! Panathinaikos is a European club with great history and it is a shame that we don't have a new and big stadium. Many talks are for in which part of Athens must be built. Where do you think its the best?

The best would be at Alexandras avenue because it is the most central part in Athens of all these. But the new stadium must be bigger and the old one is surunded by buildings so...

So I believe the best is Goudi. That is at the center of Athens too.

Panathinaikos football and basketball presidents and the rest of the PAO council met with mayor of Athens. As we go now, the new athletic center will be at Votanikos. It will include football, basketball, volleyball stadiums and other activities.

when will they begin building it and what is the due date for it's first home match?

and yes, a team like Panathinaikos needs a much bigger stadium. they remind me of England's Arsenal who is such a big team and yet, their home field is old school. next season, Arsenal will have their new stadium (or is it the season after that? i dont remember), but Panathinaikos needs a much bigger stadium aswel.

Olympiakos has the beautiful Karaiskaki Stadium which has been graded 5 stars by UEFA. i think Panathinaikos needs a 5 star field aswel. they have a 4 star field at the moment which isn't bad concerning Greece's history of terrible fields. but PAO deserves 5 star quality. as does AEK, in my opinion.

All things about the new stadium haven't cleared yet. We don't know for sure when the construction will begin. It is difficult to impossible that we start the new season with the new stadium. The most possible is that will start of September.

But the stadium we are gonig to build there is going to be only 33.000...
So I think the next best solution right now is Votanikos.
If we go there we are gonna build something SEPCACULAR.

Basketball stadium
Volley stadium

Yes. And most fans think Votanikos and Goudi were the best solutions. Votanikos is in central Athens too close to Omonia square (about a kilometer).
