in the 20-team serie a this season, how many teams will be relagated to serie b, the last 4 or the last 3? Or need some play-offs?

I used to believe so . But lately I heard ,from various sources, that the last 4 teams will be relagated. And the top 3 teams in Serie B will be directly promoted to Serie A next season. And the fourth and fifth need to play off to decide who is the fortunate to play in Serie A next season unless the fourth has a 5-point advantage to the fifth( In the case, the fourth will also be promoted directly.) Seems so complicated. But is that true?

Bottom 3 teams from Serie A will be relegated. 3 top teams from Serie B are promoted. the 2 top team in the bottom of the Serie A table will face play off with another 2 teams from Serie B.
