Yesterday, Saudis start thier warm-up for the big match against Korea in Dammam lately this month.... Calderon called the big name (Sami Al-Jaber) to help young names to pass this strong match.

The possible line-up will be :

------Zayid (26 year-old)-----------
Dokhi (28)--------Takkar(26)----- Montashri(23) ------- al-Saqri(28)

Karriri (25)---------- Aziz(23) (AlJassim(23))

Shalhoob(24) ----------- Noor(27)

Sami AlJaber,((C)),(33) ------------Yasser AlQahtani (24)

the match will be held in al Dammam stadum (40,000) , all saudis looking for this match to return again as the biggest team in Asia ( 3 cups, 2 finals ,3 Wcq)... after bad performance in last asian cup... all saudis believe that thier team will be qualify to the next WC...and the road start from AlDammam. So they will fullfil the stadum to sopport thier main aim.

to be honest this may be a tough game. i am not that optimistic we will win for sure. i think maybe 2-1 or worst case scenario a loss 1-0. but i hope 3-0 for korea!

Al-Ghashian "who scord the SA goal against Swedish team in WC 1994) played for Alkmaar "Nethrland" and Sami AlJaber played for Wolfers "England" and more than 10 saudi young players play with a very famous europian teams in the youth section....one of them in Ac Milan (El Jihani ) (15 YEAR OLD) his coach expected a good future for him in football world...

This is going to be a sweet game. I predict 2-1 in Korea's favor. It could be the other way around with ease but I hope Korea wins. Good luck to Saudi Arabia though.

I agree. In my eyes Korea, Japan, and Iran are about the same in skill. I think little things like home field advantage will change the outcome of the game.

are u a new in asian football? Korea will meet the (five-asia cup- finals) team... the team who crashed Korean three times from asian cup 1984 (1-0) in semi-final , 1988 (5-4) in the final and (2-1) in 2000 in the semi-final.....Saudi team has a great luck with Korean .....

More one thing i want u all know it guys..... if u agree or not Saudi Arabia is the difficult number in Asian football... u all will see the great green falcons (the latin-style team) in thier great performance in this WCq.

I think if Korea plays like they did agasint eygpt they will lose and badly. If they play like they do at home they will and easily. If Iran plays with the crowd and plays like a team they will win. If they don't play like a team they will most likey draw i doubt lose since they are on homeground, but they could possibly lose. Some japanese stars arn't there though so that might help if they don't play as a team.

Did you see the Iran Japan game? no one faked an injury, when there was tackles no matter how severe the players bounced right back and got into the game, when a goal was scored no one tried to waste time and roll on the grass..... THAT was a Football game,,,,

Dude, other Koreans themselve have admitted that they play bad and just sucked, and Saudi Arabia was awhole lot better, so just stay away from these stupid excuses, when we lost the AFC Cup, we just said we were bad in that tournament, not any lame excuses.

it just a stereotype my friend.....we have a poor media..so u hear many false information about us from others who know nothing about us just some old ideas :depressed (that happens with Iran ,too).....our King never said " don't play abroad"....he doesn't behave like this.. (do u imagine us live in tents with some camels and goats :D )... our player have played in europe before the iranian and Japanese players who start to play abroad after WC98' whereas the Saudi player AlGhashian have played to Alkmaar (Netherland) in 96 ....

u ve to respect us as team won AFC 3 times
and went to WC 3 times

if u dont like saudi u still ve to be logical
i can admit that since last WC saudi has been down cus most of NT players retired

but we beat SK with only 1 experience player "Sami Aljaber" and most of team have less than 25 appearances with NT

i still respect all teams in Asia especially Japan and Iran

by the way, how many times did SK beat Saudi since 1980 ?!!

hope that we get in top "as we did last 3 time" and Kuwait get second
