Both Rooney and Ronaldo deserves it but my vote went to Rooney. He's been excellent for Man U scoring important goals and all. He's made a bigger impact compared to Ronaldo. :)

True, even though Ronaldo has been doing quite good lately, Rooney steals it.

Yeah, I agree Rooney's been stealing the limelight even if Ronaldo's been performing well. Hehe! :rolling:

rooney without a doubt. Also keane should be mentioned in that poll, as his form has shown good improvment in the last couple of months, compared to his total unfit performances in the last season.

dudes, who was the only one to pose a threat to ac milan b4 being injured, think about it, it has 2 be giggs, who is our most consistent performer.

I have to say it's between Ronaldo and Rooney. This was the season that Ronaldo really began to show his talent and place in the team, but Rooney has been phenomenal.

yes thats true, but sonr just see one match, see over the whole season. I dont think any body has as much resolve and determination as rooney. even keane has improved this season as compared to the last one.

i'd say keane. the team allways looks so much stronger when hes amongst them. unfortunately his legs wont be there for much longer though :(
ronaldo has had some great performances this season, as has rooney, but keane still clinches it for me.

Sorry guys, Keano is the man, the team is unstoppable when Keane is playing his game, but i agree, his legs do give out on occasion now and then but he's still a very dominant player when performing at the top of his game :D

Keane has had a wonderful season, but looks very minimal when compared to the other players for the club.
Rooneys been great but he was good before. ronaldo was good but now he is great. he has really improved and showed what he can do so i would say he has improved the most but over all it would have to be rooney

Would have to be Gabrielle Heinz. His performances at left back make him probably the best defender in the world at that position. And his performances certainly put the woeful Silvestre to shame.

rooney i thought was man utd player of the year because he is quite a amazing player.... just his strenght is amazing and the ability to shoot from 25-30 yards, so i voted for him.....

Don't let the Arsenal sign trick you, I got a little thing for the red devils to. I'm going with Giggs. Rooneys done some great things, but Giggs is there day in day out.

Scholes has been performing beautifully lately. He has remained solid this season.
I would say Rooney but the performances of Ronaldo and Heinze also deserve a mention. Heinze has been superb, especially considering the circumstances in which he arrived. Ronaldo has proved that he will be one of the best players in the world for many years.

If Cristiano can resist Real Madrid temptation, then he will surely be one of the greats.

"Giggsy" without a doubt. I chose Giggsy not because I'm a Giggs fan, but because Giggs' performance been remarkable this season. Taking into consideration the age of the player, Giggsy still holds it down for his legendary name inspite of being 31. Plus Ryan won everything with the club when Rooney and Ronaldo haven't won everything and that should commonly make Rooney and Ronaldo more ambitious than Giggsy to win titles but Ryan's performance been great that if this past season was your first time watching him, you would mistake his age for 17 or 18.
Kean's performance deserves a mention too. He's been great...

I don't really care about Manchester United since I hate that club with passion, but I have to be honest and say that Rooney deserves the player of the year without any doubt at all.
Scholes = One of the main reasons ManU lost to Arsenal in FA CUP.
Keane = Hate him.
Giggs = Okay player, but not as good as Rooney.
C.Ronaldo = He has done some fantastic assists but the goals don't really come up for him that often.

Cristiano was constantly scoring this year, he just hit a dry spell towards the end.
Scholes has saved the club more than he hurt it. There were chances for United to score in the final against Arsenal, but they were not taken to perfection like they were needed.
