I voted Iran, i think its real close and i mite be baised, but i think Iran has flat out better players than the other two they jus need to get used to each other with some of the new additions. I think there only weakness is defense but they played better against bahrain and i think theyll continue to improve the more games we play.

FIFA is a good enough place, without people getting stubborn, and trying to start beef between nations.

If FIFA, and AFC rankign sput Japan as the top country in Asia, why must people argue against that. THERE IS A REASON WHY JAPAN IN 18th IN THE WORLD RITE NOW! AND IRAN 20th! IT IS BECAUSE JAPAN IS BETTER! HENCE JAPAN BIENG THE TOP ASIAN COUNTRY AT THE MOMENT!

I am Iranian and I vote for Japan. The professionalism that is present in Japan has not even reached Iran yet. I do not know why Iran's league is called "Iranian professional league"...nothing professional about it. The Iranian football federation does not spend enough money on the foundation of Iranian football!

Having said that, South Korea and Iran are equal. I think South Korea are more professional and have better discipline than the Iranians. But the Iranians are physically better and their individual skills are much better than the Koreans.

I think you just about summed it right, comparing the 3 countries is like comparing Argentina->Iran, Spain-> Jap, Holland-> Korea
iran has more flair than the other two countries, whilst Korea and japan have more tactical discipline than iran.
in comparing Korea and Japan, .. Japan edge Korea in terms of individual skills, but theres a mental and physicality side of Korea that seems to have an edge over japan.

never use the fifa rankings as a reference, their an absolute joke....the only way to rate how good a team is by their achievements in the big tornaments like the world cup,euro championships or in this case the asian cup.
I'd take south korea for the fact that they made it as far as the semi's in 2002 and have qualified for every world cup since 1986, so besides achieving asia's best ever result in 2002 their also the most consistent asian qualifiers, it's possible teams like iran might have more naturally gifted players but the bottom line is results and achievement and in that department korea is asia's # 1.

Ok Iran has the most players in europe currently and the most players ever.
Iran also has done the most for big competitions counting Asian Cup, Games, ECT. If you take a look at the world cup korean or japan have never won a game outside of 02, While Iran has. the other time korea and japan made it during the cup was durring the iran-iraq war... and the goverment hadn't organized the team. Alright thats my beef so thanx for listening.

1. Iran sry current ranking Blueshark your full of bs with that ranking needs improvement in goalie kinda sorta and defence.
2. Japan Needs improvement with forwards

Im just gonna say Iran to Japan tough call. Im Iranian so im biased but I believe Iran wins in forwards and midfield... Tie in defence I think Iran could edge them out when Neukonam and Kabei get EPL contracts. They have a better keeper. They have better Teamwork we are better physically not meant to be racist but were bigger and faster on the field.

mazloumi i think your analysis is very accurate and fair. i think in terms of individual talent japan is weakest of the three but they have an excellent team game. maybe with better coaching they can capitalize on some of the individual talent better.

in terms of korea i think they need better coaching and a better strategy to bring out their potential.

in terms of iran from what i have seem it seems they have the best individual players but very little team cooperation. the strikers seem to want to get all the glory and not really play with the rest of the team who are all integral to winning an actual game.

inm the LAST decade, not the last few. Since Japan established the J-League Japanese fottball ghas shot up, and at the rate were goin now, were gettin stronger.


PS This poll is bniased and faulty. No one in here but Koreans and Iranians, and Im surpirsed not Japanese took the time to vote for Japan. So this is biased and wrong poll, just like very other one in here....O I wish their was more Japanese...... :dead:

i totally agree wiht this, japan has a very strong team game, they know how to read each other and that would make up for individual talent any day,
