Ok, well I have heard rumours that many people on the JFA board have begun questiong Zico`s method, such as calling up Nakamura and Takahra, then not even putting them on against N. Korea, in which Japan cleary should have not struggled. even His Imperial Highness Prince Takamado
Honorary patron to the JFA has begun questioning Zico. I have also heard rumours that because of this pressure, Zico is going to recall Nakata Hide back to the team, as well as Inamoto. It seems Zico is going back to Troussier`s method of basing plays around European based players. I would (perosnally) welcome this.
Since there are probably no other Japanese people in this forum, or Japan Fans, This will probably be a un popular topic. But feel free to put something down anhyways

Well I totally agree, but I think ZICO is trying to make J-League stronger however INAMOTO should definantly be on the TEAM. I heard there was a new Korean player in AS Roma is that true?

japan will need nakata to take on the iranian mightyy midfield....
irans midfield is maybe theire strogest point both in defensive and offensive..
iran has mighty midfield players such as
mobali-kazememian-kia-zandi-niki-navidkia-nekounam-karimi-alavi
japan will need alll the players they need...but nakata is gone down aloooot... he is not as good as he was ;)

I disagree that Iran has a very strong (Midfield) But I agree that Iran has some of the best midfield players in Asia.
Iran has some issues with their line up, their current line up is not very effective and does not allow Hashemian to show his true talent.
seems like the whole team is built around Daei and that is a mistake by the Iranian coach, everyone (including some defenders) Always try to pass the ball to Daei when Iran has several other very good players... Daie is not the same player as he was.
it's time to change. ;o)

I agree with you. Iran seems to always give the ball to Karimi (in most games i watch) Once Japan gets rolling, they can manage to get sum good passing. Japans forwards are also really fast (Tamada, and Okubo)

Tamada does a 100m in 12 secs or less. Okubo does it in 12 flat, but they have both had injuries to parts of their legs, so i dont know how fast they are any more.

Toke-E-yo I can tell that you didn't watch the Iran-Japan match in AC cup, in that game Kabi Owned Japan's right and left field, mostly the brazilan based player Alex. He even admitted after the game. Kabi was just too fast for him. He won all the one on one battles against him so he kept fouling him. I think in that match Kabi was Iran's best player and most of the Japanese fans who watched the game agreed with me. But Kabi has his ups and downs, he has a very short temper and he plays with pride which is sometimes good, also his physics is not good because he is so short and small, he is very weak but he has a big heart. I like his style, lets see what he does against Japan. Alex and zico will be more prepared for him this time. Oh and yes he is indeed incredibly fast probably the fastest in Asia and one of the fastest on the planet like aston said. JMHO

Kabei is incredibly fast... He is a little on the short side, but his speed and physical approach make up for it. Honestly he is one of the top contenders for the next R. Carlos.

Yes that match ended 0-0; so if you did watch it you didn't pay much attention cause almost everybody noticed kabi's speed and dominence over the Japanese players that day. I do think that the 2 teams are pretty even and it will either be a tie in Tehran and a tie in Tokyo or an Iran win in Tehran and a Japan win in Tokyo.
