SAMSUNSPOR 2-1 GALATASARAY

Today Galatsaray lost 3 points Samsunspor 2-1 at 19 mayis Stadium in Samsun after a 9 conscative wins in Superlig. Galatasaray(2nd) gave Fenerbahce(1st) big advantage to increase the gap between them. If Fenerbahce wins against Sebatspor(18th) this week in Istanbul, the gap between first and second is going to be 5 points. Also if Trabzon(3rd) wins at home against Denizlispor(6th), Galatasaray will lose the 2nd spot to them with a 1 point difference.

Thanks for opening this topic. It is smart. We will have a new stand in July 2005, because our old Eski Açik stand in Ali Sami Yen couldn't be used for security reasons. We are destroying it...

Im obviously Fener fan but as a Turk, I say Galatasaray need a either new stadium or renew ASY(Ali Sami Yen). Thats why Im glad they started to do something about it. Galatasaray fans and club, they deserve better stadium than ASY. If they built a new one, it will be very emotional for Galatasaray fans since they have so many history there. We need more modern arenas in Turkey for at least our reputation.

Galatasaray advanced to semifinal by defeating Diyarbakirspor. The game's first and the only goal came from Ayhan in 40th minutes.

Buyuk bir ihtimalle Sukru Saracoglu yada Avni Aker. Ama Sukru Saracoglu en buyuk ihtimal. Gerci hicbir zaman Ali Sami Yen'de oynanacak diye bir sey soylenmedi cunku yikimdan oncede durumu o kadar iyi degildi. Eger Olimpiyat Stadi'nin Sampiyonlar Ligi icin yapilan cevre duzenlemesi bitmisse 100% orda yapilir.

Galatasaray has won 1-0 against besiktas scoring in the 53rd minute by hakan sukur who scored his 220th goal to be the 2nd most goal scorer for turkey also necati recieved a second yellow in the 65or 68th minute and galatsaray played 10 men and ribery was taken off the match due to ribery having problems breathing but later said to be fine

CEVAD PREKAZI (1957- )

Born in 1957, Prekazi came to Galatasaray in 1985 - 1986 season. Specializing in free kicks, he gave numerous goal passes to Tanju and Mirsad and wrote his name down in the list of "unforgettable players".

An Albanian footballer, who had an important role in Galatasaray's league championships and its successes in European Cups, he left Galatasaray in 1991. After playing for Altay and Bakirköyspor for a while, he went back to his homeland.

GALATASARAY(2nd) 2-2 MALATYASPOR(16th)
Galatasaray has lost 2 points at home and gave another big advantage to Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce lost last week to Denizli and the points diference went down to 2 points but this week Fenerbahce's win and Galatasaray's draw at home end giving 4 points lead to Fenerbahce this week. But of course the championship is not over yet and there is still 8 weeks to go.
