who are the 10 best players in the history of this great club, here's my picks. 1.F.Beckenbauer 2.G.Mueller 3.L.Matthaeus 4.K.H Rummenigge 5.O.Kahn 6.S.Maier 7.P.Breitner 8.S.Effenberg 9.M.Scholl 10.M.Ballack This was'nt easy, it's a bit difficult comparing players in different positions against each other, i also left out guys like klinsmann coz he only played i think 2 seasons with them, also had to leave out other greats like andy brehme, uli hoeness and probably others iv'e overlooked, also ballack should move up the list as the years progress.

Franz "Kaiser" Beckenbauer and Gerd "Phantom" Mueller are absolutely the best Bayern players ever!!!
The first a steady deffender, who had also good abilities to create actions and score himself. The second was a real phantom, you didn't listen about him during the match, he was hidden somewhere, waiting for the chance to come, but once it really came, he stroke. He didn't have dribling abilities, but he had a good sense knowing where the two posts stood, anywhere he was in the pitch, even when he was showing his back to those two posts!!!

I think the best player is Ronaldo...ooopppsss...wrong thread...:D

NO I am joking (even though Ronaldo is the best).

I agree with baggy about Kaizer and Phantom but I would add Kahn to the top three. I mean Kahn has been the constant best player for Bayern for many years now...(it's pretty sad when your best player is the goalkeeper - like for juve - but what can you do if there is only one Real Madrid...lol)

I like Bayern (my team) in Bundesliga. Tschus guys...:D

I agree, daei was better in hertha. In Bayern he didnt get much chance.

Klinsmann shouldnt be in the list, winning the UEFA cup doesnt make you a big player. And Klinsmann played awfull in munich. Nah I dont want him in the top 10.

My top ten(no order):
Sepp Maier
Oliver Kahn
Klaus Augenthaler
Franz Beckenbauer
Paul Breitner
Stefan Effenberg
Lothar Matthäus
Mehmet Scholl (or Elber)
Gerd Müller
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge

Why didn't u put Ballack in the list? He was doing pretty good at Bayern until he moved to Chelsea that is...
In years to come i hope we can put Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger & Lukas Podolski in the list too.

This is a good list. I'd take out Breitner or Augenthaler and leave Elber in though. My top 6 would be:

Beckenbauer
Mueller
Kahn
Effenberg
Scholl
Matthaeus

The rest, in my humble opinion, lack a bit behind.
