my overall dribbling is good, but i want my dribbling to look as if the ball is glued to my foot. Any suggestions?

When I was learning how to dribble, I would dribble any chance I got, where ever I went. Anything I did normaly, liek go down the street to my friends house, or hang out with my friends, I had a soccer ball with me. This made it so I learned how to keep it with me, no problem, where ever I went. On the pitch, Every one notices that the ball is never more than a foot away from me, and I can manuever how ever I want with it. It only took about 2 months to get decent with controling the ball like this, I still do this, but I try to incoporate more advanced dribbling with it, I'm getting better every week.

Another thing you can do, is try changing your Size 5 ball with a miniature training ball. This will get you used to using a little ball, and it's pretty tough to get a nice touch on a small mini ball. When you go back to using a big ball, it will seem like the big ball is huge. A lot of the pros do this.

The best way to go is just have a dsoccer ball with you when ever possible at your feet, and to be able to keep your head up and still maintain good control with the ball.

Using cones to dribble through and doing one on one activities can help aswell :)

Use the outside of your laces.

what i did was play with a size 1 ball in my living room with my younger brothers..the area was tite so you had to keep the ball close to you..helps a lot..

Just dribble and dribble until you got more ball control, and then learn some fancy plays you could put in a game.....using cones helps a lot if you don't play as often, or if you are playing competitively in a team.

Practice with a softball. Also one of the easiest ways to get the ball to stick to your foot is to practice blindfolded, its great fun and you look real cool once you get the hang of it.

I guess is a good technique, but right now I'm not practicing football at a competitive level.....just playing games for fun with the mates.....
