Yeah i would agree about that , but i said before , made the poll with players whcih dont have a huge buy-out clause and are not definetly commited to their current club . How much you think is Henry's buy-out clause? 45 milj ?

id say Barca needs one more good defender cuz the attack and midfield are just amazing with the recent signings of Lopez and Albertini. The thing is whos a good cheap defender?

well the player doesnt have to b very cheap , more like 20-25 milj , but that should b an excellent defender , so not some strong slow guy like samuel :)

I voted Lucio but only because I think we need a good CB like Kompany. I hear that he is the future and that Barcelona wants him. Apart from that I do not think we need anyone badly. I do not think we need any of the players in the poll list.

Barca have loaned out Saviola,Rochemback,Riquelme and brought in Maxi.So,the last thing they need to buy is a striker or a midfielder.Yes,i totally agree with ItalianBoy.They need to invest in buying a CB.Although,i must say i havent really seen much of Vincent Kompany.But he is highly rated and people say he is next desailly,a much atlethic Desailly! With Gabri,Edmilson,Motta,Larsson returning early next season,all departments are pretty much covered.

So that is only good news. All the players loaned should be sold. They were part of the "old" Barça project but they are not needed now. Who needs Rochemback when we have Xavi? The guy is amazing and only 22.

ROchemback hasnt been loaned out to Sporting, it was just a normal sell transfer. The only thing Barca still has is that they 've got an option for Rochemback to get him back, but Rochemback is NOT Barca's property en btw Xavi is 25 and NOt 22

IN the beginning of the discussion i said THESE POLL IS BASED ON REALISTIC VALUES THAT BARCA MAYBE COULD AFFORD, BALLACK FOR example is not realistic cos Barca almost bought him BUT they didnt agree and now BAyern has risen the release clause of Ballack , it was in the news long while ago if you paid attention :p

Yeah,i've read an article where Torres admitted he wanted to play for Barca.But i think the move is unlikely to happen cause we have maxi & saviola loaned out.We may have sold Quaresma,but we bought Deco in return :) and the Quaresma deal states that Barca have an option to buy him back.The kid does good step-overs :)

Barcelona want to bring in four new faces in the summer and reports in Spain suggest that seven players could leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
The Catalan giants are ready to begin a rebuilding program that will se several of the previous regimes signings make an exit.

Acorrding to Spanish daily sports paper Marca, Barça have decided that they want a back-up keeper for VÃ*ctor Valdés, a central defender, a central midfielder and a right winger.

With several players beginning to make their way on to the club’s incoming shortlist, the report also lists the players that are believed ready to become surplus to requirements.

Young keeper Albert Jorquera is set to have his stint at the club cut short as Rijkaard doies not believe that has enough talent to put real pressure on Valdés.

Fernando Navarro is set to leave after announcing that he wants to quit the club following limited first-team opportunities this term.

Fabio Rochemback is enjoying a successful loan spell at Sporting in Portugal and Barca would be willing to allow him to join them permanently for the right fee.

Gerard’s contract expires in the summer and with no contact being made by the club it is clear that he has not future at Camp Nou. The Catalan midfielder has said that he has already received offers from other teams.

Demetrio Albertini has done nothing to convince anyone at Barca that he deserves to have his six-moth contract extended. His situation is slightly embarrassing for the club after they spent several month scouring the market for a replacement for Edmilson and Thiago Motta, only to bring him in and then not play him.

The other duo who are set to leave could well be the Argentian pair of Juan Román Riquelme and Javier Saviola.

Riquelme has impressed during a two-year loan spell at Villarreal and rumours persists that he is being lined up to either stay with the Yellow Submarine or move to Deportivo.

Saviola’s situation is less clear as his pending Italian passport would allow Barcelona to keep him, they currently have their allocation of non-EU players.

I was really scared when the headline read 7 of Barca players will be leaving.But from seeing the 7 player list,it was fair enough for me.I think the 4 players will be Kompany/Gonzalo Rodriguez,Van Bommel,Joaquin & a goalie (no idea)
