Brescia coach Gianni de Biasi has confirmed talks are continuing with AS Roma over striker Marco Delvecchio.
"It's true that there are negotiations with Roma for Delvecchio," said De Biasi. "I hope to be able to call on him soon. He is a great striker."
Delvecchio's agent is also in talks with Roma about a settlement for the final months of his contract. The former Italy international is hoping for a financial parachute as he will be taking a big pay-cut in joining Brescia.
The deal was at its final stages last night, which will see Delvecchio play out the season on-loan with Brescia before signing a two-year contract in the summer
