FC Porto has confirmed with MSI the transfer of young Argentine Lucho Gonzalez for the end of the season for 7 million euros. (Diego was also 7 million)
Pinto da Costa and River Plate have come to an agreement that would see Lucho come to the Dragao only after helping River Plate win the Libertadores and of course the league.
Still in South America, papers read that Lucho will be on his way to Corinthians to join Carlos Alberto, but MSI has denied that rumour.

Pinto da Costa may seem like a very narrow minded man, but when the offer for Costinha arose from the Russians for end of the season with a big transfer fee; how could he refuse?
Nothing is official, but it looks like Costinha could be headed to Russia with 30 years of age on his back.
************************************************** ************
Vitor Baia is having a rough year off the soccer pitch as his divorce is being finalized. The Russians are prepared to pay big dollars for ‘icon’, and because of his personal situation, he has no reason to refuse.
Although it is not certain what will happen to Baia after this season, it is expected that he will either retire early and be apart of the training staff, or spend a season in Russia.
The reality is that next season it looks like the #99 will not be in between the pipes as rising talent Helton from Uniao de Leiria has his future secured as a Dragao!
Costinha stinks, good move to sell him to a naive team.
