I used to love the old series when i was a kid & of course the toys. I think i still have my old Transformers boxed up with my old star wars toys.
Apparantly Transformers are becoming popular again, & a new movie is in the works...based on the 80's characters not this beast wars crap!
Gotta feel sorry for the kids of today, they have tellietubbies, Power Rangers..we had Transformers & He Man!!!! :)

Who was Unicron?

Unicron was the planet devourer which tried toi destroy Cybertron in the movie. He also had a few run ins with our heros in the comics. I think it turned out that he & cybertron were old enemies, Cybertron was once alive!

After Unicrons destruction in the movie his head rmeained in orbit.

In one episode after the movie Uncron with the help of starscrems ghost (spark?) Gains Metroplexes eyes. And starscreame takes astrotrain so that Unicron's head can attach to cybertron So that unicron can use cybertron as his body!

The planet alive yur thinkin bout is not cybertron (not a planet either) but primus. In the comic Primus created cybertron (in the show the Quintesstions created cybertron)

Scorponok was one of the headmaster Transformers wasnt he?
I have very vague memories of the Headmasters, When they made Optimus Prime one i was kind of dissapointed!
The headmaster Transformers landed on some alien planet, where they had no fuel & so had to merge with the natives. the natives were the transformers heads.
I think thats correct!!! C'mon S am i right??????

if i can remember my transformers, scorp took over the decepticons toward the end of the comic book series, when the two factions united, after that, a guy with a skull head took over ( anyone remember HIS name?? i don't)
it warms my heart to see transformers still alive and kicking, they're part of my holy trinity of childhood cartoons: transformers, gi joe, thundercats.

Well I dont' own the comic book myself but heres whatts up with the headmasters (btw close valleyboy)


Transformers first had 2 seasons before the movie (where EVERYTHING changed) the movie was followed by the Season 3 of G-1 (started with Five faces of Darkness where the Decepticons returned and the quintesons introduced themselves)

The 3rd season was not nearly as popular as the first 2 due to cutbacks on animation and much less characters.

The 3rd season ended with the 2 parter The return of optimus prime (where optimus prime came back :b) It was sort of a 3 parter if you include Dark Awakening.

That was the last 3 episodes in japan. In japan a whole new Headmasters Seris started in japan a year later. Sales were too poor to continue Transformers too much longer in America. So they decided to wrap up the seris with a 3 part saga call "The Rebirth" In this saga the Decepticons steal the Key to the plasma energy chamber (in case your wondering the Plasma energy chamber will play a MAJOR part in Beast Machines this thursday at 4 Pm eastern standard time) Scourge used the key and temporarily opened the Plasma energy chamber. The huge overload of energy nearly killed scoruge but sent a group of Autobots (who had taken the key back) flying to the Planet Nebulos. The autobots were followed by the Decepticons. The autobots found a small group of Nebulons who were rebelling against a telepathic group called the Hive. The Nebulons teamed up with the autobots in the new force called the headmasters. (BTW optimus prime wasnt a headmaster silly :b )

They used their new partners to help them defeat the hives weapons. (because the Nebulons knew the weaknesness) They easily destroy the hives weapons. Meanwhile the Deceptcepticons stumble into the hive city. Where the hive leader Zarak order them to team up with them. The animals are made into headmaster and the Robotic transformers get Targetmasters. The decepticons easily defeat the autobots this time. But the autobots then get their own Targetmasters.

The next fight is nearly a standoff. Unitl everyone is suprised by the largest transformer everbuilt pops out of the ground. Zarak had created the whole hive city into a super robot Scorponock (BTW zarak was the head of scorponock :b)
