Well now that Real have Gravy what will the formation be?
Will it be a 5-3-2?
A 4-1-3-2?
Or some new formation Lux dreams up?
What do you think?
My formation....

Casillas
Salgado - Helguera - Mejia/Samuel - Carlos
Gravesen
Figo - Zizou - Solari
Ronnie - Raul

Subs:
Becks in for Figo
Mejia or Samuel in for the other
Arbeloa in for Salgado
Guti in for Solari or Zizou
Owen in for one on top
Celades in for Gravy

Well this appears to be Lux's formation...

Casillas
Salgado - Helguera - Samuel - Carlos
Gravesen
Becks - Figo - Zizou
Raul - Ronaldo

With Guti coming in to make it a 3-5-2 near the end.

I like your formation better, as long as Solari has a solid position.

I'd like to see Owen, and Solari coming on every game.

I would say that we should keep beckham on the right band as we did last game.

Casillas
Salgado - Helguerra - Samuel - Carlos
Gravesen
Beckham - Zidane
Figo
Raul
Ronaldo

It's just hard for the left side of the field, and then the strikers.

I don't know what Lux will do.

Can somebody tell me how was the team situated after the substitute of Salgado

Highway Penguin

I heard it was this....

Casillas
Helguera - Samuel - Carlos
Gravesen - Guti
Becks - Zizou - Figo
Raul - Ronnie

I think or Guti was out on the wing.
That's what I was told. :)
That was in the 67th minute and Owen and Solari came on later... So sub Solari in for Ronnie and switch him to the left, and Owen in for Gravy so switch him upfront.

But the defence looks really weak because R.Carlos is playing more like LM and with the lack of speed Real players have it's really dangerous to play in that formation (with only two real defenders) even against 10 men team. But this is what the good coach should be - taking risks and responding for them (hope he'll never need :) )

this is how my Real should play :D

Casillas
Salgado - Helguera - Samuel - R.Carlos
REDONDO :p
Figo - Solari
Zidane
Ronaldo - Raul

a 4-1-2-1-2

i agree, Solari should be a starter in every game, bench beckham, zidane or raul, don't care but Santi should always be a starter and if perez doesn't re-new his contract i'd hope he goes to italy and not barcelona... and i will cry. :o

Ya, it is.
I think he just wanted to win really badly.
I think it was the best option though, Salgado.

Oh well, Lux knows what he is doing.

---becks---------zizou----------------figo
--------raul-----------ronaldo---------

I'm wondering where to put Woodgate. on the bench? sell him?

Casillas

Salgado - Samuel - R. Carlos

Helguera/Woodgate (here?) - Gravesen

Figo - ZZ - Beckham

Raúl - Ronaldo

or to but one man (Woodgate) less to defense and strengthen attack with Owen. dunno

Carlos as a back if we had 3 would kill us and him.
He'd never get to go up.

Woodgate could play back there with Samuel and Salgado.

---------------Casillas------------
Salgado-Woodgate-Samuel-R.Carlos
--------------Gravesan-----------
Beckham---Zidane------------Figo
---------------------Raul---------
---------------Ronaldo------------

OR

---------------Casillas------------
Salgado-Woodgate-Samuel-R.Carlos
--------------Gravesan-----------
----Beckham---Zidane---Figo------
----------Ronaldo---Raul----------

in the first formation, raul can have a free role. but mainly push up, he can bridge the gap between attackin mid n forward. fido on the left bcos figo has been known to play on the left n can use both feet, n is fast and has trix, n can cross (zidane doesnt cross tats y i prefer figo there) zidane in the middle becos hes playmaker n has tons of space to move in the middle, n can control more of the game in the middle n suddenly change the play to the wings

second formation is more of a 4-4-2 but gravesan behind. its solid as well. but in actual fact becks n figo hav to move out little wider. again zidane in the middle to control the game... raul is totally pushed up.

both the formations look good, n i tink they would work in the same principle.

I think that the current formation is fine, but the coach needs to get to know Gravesen better so he can give the player more responsabilities, moving a little more forward Zidane, Figo, Beckham and Raul., Gravesen will be more lonely and the team will be more offensive, but Shrek has to prove he can fulfill the charge.
