Well this is it.
Im not going to bother and introduce myself over these forums. Im here for one purpose and thats to talk cool football - not soccer, but football. The Football Federation of Australia has indeed already made a good decision over the switch in names.
The year 2005 is a very important one for Australia, not only internationally with the world cup qaulifiers against the South American oppenents to come but also domestically with the new A-League. If they get this new League set up right I believe then that football will be heading towards the number one sport in this country in time.
So I will rap up my introduction there, but leave this one statement. That is bugger club football this year, the real short term goal is to qaulify for this world cup and who knows maybe even win the confeds cup why where on the way! We came close once with that one - nil win over eventual champions France in I think 98'. Who knows. This is going to be a big year for Australian Football fans, lets just hope its a good one.
