We had a relative pass away just before Christmas. He and his entire family were really soccer buffs.

A couple of people and I have though about setting up a friendly soccer tournament to help raise funds to pay for all the funeral costs, etc.

We're thinking of setting up 8-man teams and charging for each team. So far the response has been good. We're planning on having the tournament at the end of this month.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we should set up the tournament itself? Has anyone ever setup a soccer tournament?

Say,20 people start doing doing kick-ups at the same time and whoever goes on the longest without the ball dropping is the winner. And you could do a kids' match.
