i got a digital camera for christmas, which i sold, now with money to spare, i have decided to spend it on some boots...
to tell the truth, im, i only play for fun, and for my highschool (no chance going pro) but since my parents are attempting to take the money from me, i have decided to spend it asap.
i usually do a lot of running, i play midfield and striker. and am looking for a pair of good boots.
any suggestions?
(my parents are gonna make me pay my own school fees unless i spend the 400 dollars fast...lol)
thanks guys

wow thats heaps $400 btw what currency is it ?
if your just playing for fun you should just get some cheap boots and spend the money of something else.

if i had the spare money i would spend it on the decent pair of boots too, even thou i don't play hardout pro, or even semi pro. i properly get my favourite mecurial vapors(the white ones, cronaldo use to wear them) and the vapors are the best looking boots out there in my opion !

from browsing the forum, i heard that the vapors are very fragile, and also my friend had a pair of vapors, and they got scratchd up after 2 games...if the vapors are so light, are they comfortable? do they offer any protection at all?
thanks

I did not find the talarias (pretty much vapors but not with the nikeskin stuff) to be comfortable at all. They give u blisters and are really tight especially if you dont have narrow feet. As far as protection the talarias are the same thickness as the vapors, and I found that they did not offer any protection at all (which is a problem because i play defense). It hurt to be cleated in these shoes more than in any other shoe i have ever worn! Hopefully I could be some help. In a nutshell - I do NOT recommend the vapors.
BTW After the talarias i got the Nike Air Zoom Total 90 II's and they were the best (and most comfortable) shoes I have ever had. I am not sure about the Total 90 III's but if they are n e thing like the T90 II's I would recomend them

u got alot of money. hmmm mercurial vapors are real light. i have them, but once i was dribbling and i accidently stood on my foot, and since the blades were freaking hard and the material super soft and thin, my toe felt a stinging pain.
why dont you like the adidas F50?

through my soccer career i have found that predator manias are a VERY good cleat. They will last a long time and they offer good power and first touch. I had a pair of mercurial vapors but instead of the nike skin they were k-leather. This was very nice becasue it made the comfort level much better. The vapors were a very nice cleat but i couldnt get as much power with the shot. and they only lasted me 1 season. I havnt actually tried total 90 II`s or III`s but i hear very good things for both, Hope this was any help

You might not be able to fin the Total 90 II`s in a retail store but u will be able to find them on a website like ebay.
Roanldo, henry, and nistelrooy wear vapors becasue they are sponsored by nike and they have to wear them. They are still a nice boot tho!

do you play on the wings of the midfield or centre mid?
do you opt for power or speed?

Both are a good pair of cleats, I myself chose the Beckham Predators over the t90's. They have a better feel for me.

LMAO! Are you kidding me? 125$? I can get a brand new pair, for 90$, and acually (online) can get them for 50$. And yours are probably used...
BTW, if you plan on selling them, you might want to tell people what the size of these are.

buying used cleats is the worst thing, just get a new pair and stop whining about the price, if you can't afford 100 dollar boots get 50 dollar ones, there seriously isn't a difference in quality rather than design and brand, trust me.
Puma I have found is the best quality boot out there next to adidas, and if you want to hear names of players who wore Puma which is really uneccessary let me think of some hmm.... Eto'o, Buffon, Heinze, Maradona, Cassano etc.... Puma is the best quality and price together and you can't go wrong when you buy a pair.
