does lifting weights stunt your growth........i've heard that going around lately

Here is a simple lesson in biology. When muscle grows as in gets bigger or more of it comes around bone hardens. Now you have Epipheseal plates that in your bones hold cartilidage that will harden 2 calcicium and eventually when you grow will go away, but when your workin out with excessive weight you harden your epipheseal plates into bone causing you to stop growin. Damaging your epiphyseal plates cannot be repaired please be careful you can sitll work out but nothing excessive.

for me, i just use the machines and incline bench, but never directly lifting the bar.etc

excercising and stretching can actually stimulate growth horomones, if done moderately.

do lighter, but more reps, this way is better.
