My favourite music is definately Techno, my favourite band :
PRODIGY!

I listen to it day and night, but here are some of my favourite songs :

My favorite band is Rush. I listen to them most of the time. The bands that fill the rest of my time are usually Blue Oyster Cult, Metallica, Queensryche, Iron Maiden/Bruce Dickinson, Judas Priest, and whatver else strike my fancy at the moment.

About time i answered this one.
I'm a bit of an Indie fan, I hav=ent been to as many gigs as used to a as a student but i do keep with the latest bands & the classics.

Here are my favs...Suede, Travis, Muse,Wannadies,Radiohead,Longpigs, Oasis etc

Pretty predictable some of these bands but hey i love them....they help keep me sane....Sometimes!

here's some stuff that i like, for the sake of variety...
i like mostly goth/industrial music like:
bauhaus, sisters of mercy, skinny puppy, christian death, Laibach, Das Ich, Einsturzende Neubauten, etc.
alot of gloomy rock/electronica stuff: nick cave, the cure, tori amos, pj harvey, depech mode, new order

and some punk: rancid, misfits, offspring, the clash, minor threat

anybody else like any of this stuff?

No particular order:

No Doubt, Bush, Pink Floyd, Our Lady Peace, Third Eye Blind, Radiohead, the counting crows, morissette, mclachlan, matthew good band, placebo, moby, fatboy slim, etc, etc..and the list goes on and on..

I love music, I listen to anything but rap (can't stand it) and country (ugh..so uncreative and dull)...

As for Serbian pop music...I don't see hear any quality in it and find it kinda cheesy...not that Britney Spears is any better *gag*

Byzantium your tastes are fairly similar to mine. I like Laibach, old punk Ramones, Cramps, Meatmen, the Dicks(bad music great logos), the Clash. I even like Rammstein, those German fags. Echo and the Bunnymen. I love Dub music, Lee Scratch Perry and King Tubby.

Heavy Metal rulz.
Iron Maiden and Metallica are my favs. Iron Maiden because they are less depressing then most Metal bands and Nikko is cool.
Metallica are excilent musicians, songwritters and James Hemmet has one the best voices I've heard (Lars Ulrich is very sexy)

I also love Marilyn Manson, Coal Chamber, Kid Rock, Motely Crue, Limp Bizkit, Aerosmith, Led Zeplin, Def Leopard, etc, etc

Have any of you heard of Type O Negative? They are brilliant but so depressing. There is song they done called White Slavey, do you mind if I type you the lyrics because if there was even if there was a remote possibility of you trying cocaine, this song would scare the s--- out of you. It litterally shocked me for days.

Other great non metal bands:
Beastie Boys, Oasis, Beatles (the best of all time), Stones, Radiohead, U2, REM, Pink Floyd, Manic Street Preachers.
