When Totti arrives to Real Madrid it will be a perfect match because he will help Ronaldo and Owen very well with his skills although Raul will most likely be benched or replaced with Owen in substitudes. And also if we get Gerrard by that time it would be very good.
---------------------Ronaldo-----Owen(or Raul)-----------
-----------------------------Totti-------------------------
--------------Zidane--------Gerrard----------Figo----------
-----Roberto Carlos----Samuel-------Helguera-----Salgado---
----------------------------Casillas--------------------------

Figo on the left, Zizou on the right. Totti won't fit in. I hate to say it, but I don't think that that will work too well mate.
Too much attacking, not enough defending. Gerrard is there, but we don't have him. He said he was at Anfield anyways. No getting him.

Morientes was great well hes ok now but I don't think we needed Ronaldo on the team we could have bought a better defence if we wanted 2

You are 15 and the worst kind. It shows a mile away you are trying to get at me or piss me off. I guess I must have really kicked you in the butt somehow. You should talk about Real and what is really going on, not imaginare line-ups.

First of all imaginare is actually (imaginary) so before you try and talk big learn to spell since your 6 years older than me.
Second I have been talking about the reality of Real Madrid for a while and I thought why not start thinking of the future? Have you been thinking of Roma's future... because you should know Totti and Cassano are comin', meaning Roma will go back to Serie B if that happens.
ItalianBoy

RM7, in your last posts all you did was compare me to your dog and talk about one word and whatever else you wrote. You then tell me that you talk about the future and say that Totti and Cassano are leaving saying my club will go to B. This is a clear provokation mate. I suggest you stop acting like that with me. Cool it or you are in trouble. We all know who are the people here that know soccer and who does not, so pls, go back to the NON part.

Got a new alias now? That line up is very messed up.
Real line up is simple.
Casillas
Salgado Pavon Samuel Carlos
Beckham Helguera Zidane Figo

no figo no zidane? i am quite doubtful about this lineup.. it has sort of lost its creative side of it.. which is impt in la liga

Italian BOy i was wondering you know how Helgulera can be DM correct but my question is can Pavon defend by himself because if we can all i want is new OMF
Ronaldo Owen
OMF..... I really think if Hegulera and Pavon can do it then thats all we need
Raul Beckham
Hegulera
Woodgate Samuel Pavon Salgado... I think Samuel really needs to guide the defence if this is gonna work
Casillias.
Highway Penguin

Dudes...
If Woodgate comes back to good health we should play like this...
Ronnie/Owen
Raul/Solari - Zizou - Figo/Becks
Helguera/Guti
Carlos - Samuel - Woodgate - Salgado
Casillas
All your lineups seem so offensive. Real can make due with Ronnie up top alone. Figo and Raul both can shoot well from far out, so them on the wings will do well. Helguera likes to play DMF, and the defence is gonna have to be like that Pavon isn't going to help us much at all.

I think the line up should be like this:
.................ronaldo or raul ( i prefer raul)
figo..............zidane.................beckam
..............guti.........cledas or helguera
carlos......smauel....helguera or woodgate.......salgado
....................casillas
In this line up every player is his best position. so each will give his best.
zidane is an axial MF. beckam a winger as well figo winger/MF. Helguera in CB if woodgate get better in CB and helguera move to DM.

Italian Boy's line-up is pretty much the same as what I would select. A 4-4-2 would be a good balance for Real I think but Woodgate needs to recover. Real Madrid has potential but I really have my doubts about Perez.

Yes, you have doubts about Perez and that is why he hired Sacchi the new director for buying and organizing the players for Real Madrid.
Problem fixed :D .

Actually Sacchi is doing a pretty nice job, first he's aproaching a deal with Robinho, then he's seeking a DM, he's building a new schedule for the team.....if things keep up like this I wouldn't be surprised a come-back like last year's Barca.

Problem fixed :D .You were the first to talk shit about Perez and now you act like you are his biggest fan. Anyway, Perez is not the only guy in Madrid so you never know had the idea of getting Sacchi. The guy just got to Real and you all are already praising him. Let us first see what he does when the team comes back.

OMG LOL... are you kidding me? You didn't understand what I'm saying?
I'm just saying that it's better that Perez bought another person in charge of that so that he can't waste Real's money.
Please don't talk shit when you don't understand it.

ItalianBoy... I know that yo have been in these forums a long time and I appologize if I have hurt your feelings, but if you want to reply to my posts make sure they make sense instead of reminding someone that you are right even thought the truth is right infront of you.

See... why can't you answer my question instead of making fun of me?
You have been doing this from day one and covering it up with you 6, 000 posts and replies that sometimes make me feel like you ignore my posts and go on and on about something that is not what I am talking about.
I don't want to start another "heated" arguement with you, I just want to know WHY you do this all the time? Sometimes I feel worried about you even though you are six years older than me and should know better. :worried:

Back to the topic... seems that Luxemburgo, at least for now, will put this team up to play:
Casillas
Salgado, Helguera, Samuel and R. Carlos
Beckham, Figo, Guti and Zidane
Raul and Ronaldo

where did you hear that from?
howcum no solari? i tink we are missing solari. we have enuf ppl to create goals, but the winger on the left is missing.
we dunt need totti. makes everything messed up. buying more attackers again puts the team into crappy position, cos then luxemburgo needs to find another sutiable formation again n hav to bench worldclass plaers, n thats totally dumb.
i wud tink that solari is a better defender than guti. mainly bcos he used to play left wing back.
i tink how luxemburgo played against at. madrid was fine. solari n beckham in defensive mid. he shud push raul a little further up. juz weeny bit.

Was Raul on the left?
I didn't get to see the match.
Mind telling me the formation as well. :)
Anyways,
Solari deserves to start, I don't see why he doesn't.
I wonder how he would do as our holding mid, due to him playing defense. Hm.

I'm just guessing, but I think you're right:
Casillas
Salgado, Helguera, Samuel and R. Carlos
Beckham and Solari
Figo and Zidane
Raul and Ronaldo
This would be a better start team, at least right now... Owen is the 12th. player though.
Highway Penguin
01-11-2005, 09:03 PM
No Owen?
Hasn't Raul been doing better than Owen though?
I don't understand why we keep using the same line-up and formation as the Del Bosque era.
Seems much more logical to come up with our own new type of formation.
Casillas
Salgado, Helguera, Samuel and R. Carlos
Beckham, Zidane, Figo and Raúl
Owen and Ronaldo
This would be my team, but I ain't Luxemburgo.

The only problem with your line up is that Raul is in the midfield or if see wrongly then behind forwards which he should not be. Ronaldo and Owen is a good choice you put in but personally I would go with Ronaldo and Raul and Owen a substitute for them when one of them gets tired or isn't performing well.

nope del bosque played a way diff tactic.
he played like 4-1-3-1-1
something like tis
x---x---x---x
------x------
x---x-------x
--------x----
------x------
which relly worked. n then they axed him

Raul has a lotta creativity, he can play as a CAF, coming from behind... but as you said it would be good to keep Owen on the bench, to have a great CF any time they need to sub R9 or Raul. Bottom of line, Real Madrid has the best players and the best coach in the World now.

I've always thought it was that, just because Carlos always ran the full left side.
Two defensive mids, and two offensive mids, Figo played out far right though.
ANd two upfront.

i always saw the line up as raul behind ronaldo, and iremember it was like that. and he was so successful in that year when del bosque was manager. only thing i dunt like bout del bosque is he sits on his arse too much.
