Last year, I used to support Partizan after 12 years of supporting it and I knew I couldn't swear and yell against Red Star, so I changed back. I still have a little heart for Partizan

OFK always was my seconde favorite team, after RedStar of course. The more good teams in Serbia, the better. OFK had an amazing start but is now slowing down despite the 6-2 massacre over Vozdovac. They have some good players in Rakic and Babovic, along with Ivelja, Milovac and a solid future goalkeeper in Saranov. Let's not forget Slobodan Rajkovic, one of the best defender in the league. Rajkovic was bought by Chelsea for a record transfer fee for a u18 player (5,200,000 euros). He will be joining Chelsea in 2008 although I've heard he's going to FC Nantes on loan or something like that. He was also the youngest player to appear in u21 qualifying. All in all, OFK is pretty solid, they could've made it further into the UEFA Cup but they've been unlucky, won 1-0 in Belgrade against Auxerre, were losing 2-1 (enough to go through) but then allowed 3 goals in 5 minutes, FT 5-1. The only thing I'm worried about this team is the absence of fans at their games. The other day the played vs Vojvodina and only 200 people were watching. I can't wait to see what it's going to be like when they play RedStar or Partizan.
I played with OFK in FootballManager 2007 and was able to keep a 3,000 attendance average. My highest attendance was about 13,000 when i played Chelsea in the ChampionsLeague!

You sould be worried about more things then just the absense of fans.OFK has no ambition, every year they tell themselves that they are going for 3rd place:rolleyes:.They are OK with being mediocre and have no desire to achive anything spectacular. That is why they have no fans, people are sick of the clubs mentality. The only team with ambition in Sebia(other then RS and Pzan) is Vojvodina:thumbsup:
They sold one of their best players Alexandar Koralov to frickin Vladivostok!!!

Vojvodina are pretty good right now and have won 7 of their last 8 or something like that (the other game was a tie).
The standings will look like this:
1. RedStar
2. Partizan
3. Vojvodina
4. OFK Beograd
Our 4 best teams will get a chance to compete in Europe. My dream would be to have Zvezda in the CL and 2 teams in the UEFA Cup.

Yea that would be my dream too but right now Zvezda has no chance of making the CL.
Partizan is doing great right now and their young players are turning into studs(Smiljanic,Rukavina,Markinkovic,Jovetic,Gulan). If they keep these young players they will be a very dangerous team in the near future.
Vojvodina has completely turned things around,I can see them winning the Serbian leauge:thumbsup:
Zvezda beat OFK 1-0 today thanks to a goal by Milijas(who Bajevic kept on the bench:rolleyes:)

Hector Cuper is Zvezda's new coach. Maybe he can lead us into the CL because I know that coach won't let anybody fool around (like Trisovic, Koroman and Georgiev). But yeh, Zvezda has no chance with the way they're playing right and the lack of quality players. We need a better left attacking midfielder because Trisovic isn't doing the job. We also need a better left defender (Andjelkovic is simply awful). We desperately need better strikers because Djokic simply won't lead us into the CL. This is the best we can offer right now:
4-4-2
Goalie: Randjelovic (Not the best, and also 33, we need a new goalie. We have some good young goalies like Pavlovic and Knezevic)
Defense:
left: Andjelkovic but I would put Perovic (need a better player there)
centre: Gueye and Djordjevic (solid enough but could be better)
right: Basta (playing awful right now, but still better than Pantic). Basta is a very talented player but it's not going well for him right now.
Midfield:
left: Trisovic (he sucks but is still called up for the NT)
right: Koroman
center: Burzanovic, Milijas (Georgiev and Milovanovic suck)
Attack
Purovic
Djokic (awful) - Maybe I'd put Thadeu but I've never seen him play as a forward, although he is one.
Coach: Hector Cuper :)

Sure they would:lol:
Cuper would be great but Im not sure that its going to happen. He was in Belgrade talking to Piksi, but noting is for sure yet.
I like Bajalica and Castillo, they sould be included in your team.Milovanovic isnt that bad,hes not going to be as good as he was hyped up to be but hes ok.Trisovic is crap and Georgiev is even worse.Djokic is shit,id play Purovic and Burzanovic up-front.

Yeh I forgot Castillo, he's probably our best midfielder, as for Bajalica I've never seen him play, but I guess he could play a good defender. Burzanovic could play up front I guess.
As for Dinamo, they're horrible, proving it by losing 3-0 at home vs Arsenal who played without at least 8 of their best players in a packed Maksimir. Too funny.
