Would you like to see Celtic and Rangers head to England and join the Premiership?

I think both teams have outgrown the SPL. It will be in the best interest of both clubs to move to the EPL in terms of the competition, they will face week in and week out and the amount of money they would be able to generate. Funds that would enable them to compete in the transfer market.

Not a bad idea, if you overlook the fact that if they continue playing the same level of football, they would find themselves in the nationwide.

We should send them where they belong: Rangers to England and Celtic to Ireland. That way everyone's happy!

They have both played in Scotland since the First Division...With Rangers as runner up in 1891, and Celtic doing the same in 1892...Eventually, 1893 and 1894 belonged to Celtic...They are tradition in the league and need to stay there. They have earned their spots there.

Why the English league? It's bad enough that they show english games in Scotland and we have to listen to biased "English football is the best in the world" by tossers like John "the gerbil / squirrel" Motson and Andy "Im irish Honestly" Townshend. England has 6 times the population of Scotland, so obviously the leauge will be bigger and more money will be involved. Rangers and Celtic fans should remember that they are Scottish, do Cardiff and Swansea fans complain about the Welsh leaugue, oops, forget that last sentence. Rather than running away from the problem we should tackle it, and do something with what we have here. Countries with a similar population to Scotland like Sweden, Norway, Croatia and Belgium don't have teams who just want to run away cause they are bored with who they have been playing. Its nonsense to suggest a move to the premiership, and anyway, after we'd humped every team in the premiership, we'd just start getting bored again.

Celtic and their rivals have outgrown Scottish football, simple as that. It will be Celtic and their rivals for the title for some time to come, can't really seeing Hearts finishing ever higher then 3rd, they just can't compete. Seeing Celtic in the EPL would be great, another avenue must be explored, like the Atlantic league that was talked about, or a uefa super league. Teams like aberdeen, dundee, hibs, motherwell have no chance of success while the Old Firm are ruling the league. :star:

i think if this happened then celtic would become the biggest club in the world, its all there to see we are desperate for the major income clubs in the english premiership generate and that would therefore make us able to compete for the champions league every year and our already massive fan base would just keep getting bigger, everywhere u go in the world you see a celtic top so just imagine.
