I think Adriano will be a good replacement for ronaldo later if Adriano remains as good as he is and i'm sure he will. When ronaldo is at the retiring age, as he is nearing it Adriano will be brillaint for Real Madrid.

What?
Adriano is better than Ronaldo

Adriano is what? No man, Ronaldo is THE ONE! Adriano can be a good replacement but it does not mean he is on par. Yet, you have to consider if Inter will sell him.

Ronaldo is a great striker. Adriano will be a great striker. Inter and Brasil are lucky to have him though. ;)

Adriano is a great player, but he has a lot to prove yet, and he won't be a good replacement for Ronaldo because Inter will never release him.....

Just like they were not supposed to let Ronaldo go. Inter is weird team, do not think anything for sure from them.

Listen guys Adriano is currently my favourite player and I know he is very strong good finisher and needs 5 defenders to gaurd him like Ronaldo used to be like, the way he makes passes and beautifull plays.
But you have remember that Ronaldo is still more experienced than Adriano right now and even a little faster in terms of pace (if you watch them both you know what I mean, if you don't watch them don't argue) although Adriano has longer stamina obviously because he is younger.
I think this is the new formation at least in terms of the strikers that I think you be put in place for Brazil.
-------------------Ronaldo----Adriano-----------------
-------------------------Robinho----------------------
-----------Rivaldo--------Kaka-------Ronaldinho-------
----Roberto Carlos-----Lucio-----Belletti -------Cafu----
--------------------------Dida-----------------------
Ronaldo: Real Madrid
Adriano: Inter Milan
Robinho: Santos (soon to be Real Madrid :ronaldo: )
Rivaldo: Olympiakos
Kaka: AC Milan
Ronaldinho: Barcalona
Roberto Carlos: Real Madrid
Lucio: Bayern Munich
Belletti: Barcalona
Cafu: AC Milan
Dida: AC Milan
By now you have understood what I mean by "2006 BRAZIL!!!"

Rivaldo? Sorry but it looks good and all except Robinho in the center and Kaka so distant.

I doubt Rivaldo will start.

I doubt Robino will start too....but hopefully in 2006 he will.

i think instead of where robinho is playin ronaldinho is going to play their because he is also an attacking midfileder.

I doubt that Ronaldinho will play wing while Robinho plays attacking mid. It'd be switched. :)
Robinho will not start. If I'm not mistaken he didn't start for Brasil in the Copa America.

Let him post what he wants. It was quite logical and I told him too but he still yet to answer.

If Adriano wants to leave Inter then he will. Nowadays in football it is more often than not down to the player's desires. But I will say this....if Adriano leaves Inter for Real Madrid then he is being very stupid. Real are no better than Inter and Adriano, just like Ronaldo before him will end up winning nothing. Tribalfootball's source made me laugh. Apparently Adriano said, ' I can't continue to play for a team that loses and doesn't challenge for Lo Scudetto or the Champions League. I am sorry, but was he talking about the same team that topped their CL group and is unbeaten in all competitions this season?

adriano's strength and ronaldo's pace can prove to be the best sriking force in the world. as two brazilians they two compliment each other. so i advise adriano to move to el santiago bernabeu.

Now, don't get me wrong G, I'm not saying Inter is a bad team or that Real is the best team of the world -neither of those statements are right- but -almost- all players dream of playing in Real, I don't exactly know why it is, maybe its history, the glamour of the team, or the desire of playing with the current players, I don't know, but I tell you this, there's not many players that would refuse to play in Real.

Now stop dreaming folks :ronaldo: Adriano won`t leave Inter (for 3 years at least) and he is winning the bet :D

The wheels are coming off the Madrid machine. I admit that there was a time when everyone wanted to join Madrid, but Cheslea are replacing them as the real super-power of football. I still see that there is a certain seduction that Madrid holds over players but the sensible players appreciate that Madrid are weak at the back and in central midfield and are full of over-paid stars and therefore would never join Real. I sincerely believe that Adriano is one of these 'sensible' players. I accept that he is likely to leave Inter in the future, hopefully not for 4-5 year though, but if he does so, it won't be to Madrid, mark my words.

I think you are talking a little too early my friend, Real have been sleeping for a few seasons... but thier back on track sicne a new coach player manager and more determination has arrived.
So once again, it's not wise to misjudge a team because of thier lack of Champions League wins because this season(2005) will ulitmateley prove if Chealsea are more than just money from a Russian Billionare.

Chelsea are a better and more organised club than Madrid. They have the best manager in the world and are organised so efficiently. Real are a shambles, not to mention the fact that they are in loads of debt. Perez is not a sensible man. I know that it is widely recognised that Real are a rich club, but that is a miscomprehension. Within 10 years they could face liquidation. I am not misjudging Madrid due to a lack of CL wins, I am JUDGING them because they are doing poorly in La Liga and only very narrowly qualified for the CL second round and will get knocked out by Juve easily. Meanwhile, Cheslea are easily heading the EPl and qualified in some style for the next round of the CL. As for them getting back on track because of their new manager, that is not necessarily correct. He has only had one game in charge, which Madrid won in geous circumstances. Sure Luxemborgo won the Brazilian league with Santos a record five times, but when given a bigger job, as he was with Brazil, ultimiately he failed.

Adriano to replace Ronaldo?
Replace him as in fullfulling Ronnie's full potential or replacing him as in when Ronnie gets old?
First fact, until now, he hasn't impressed enough to fullfill what Ronnie is. Maybe he can do so in the next World Cup.
Technically, if he is to replace Ronnie when he gets old, then maybe it would be a good replacement. But that would be like 3-4 years?
Maybe there would be other strikers better than him during that time.
But, if he comes to Real now, then it would be wonderful. Then maybe Owen will have to leave. Well, who knows? He might be tempted over in these few seasons. Why?
Maybe cause he is an uber talented footballer who is very hungry for medals. But given Juventus and AC Milan, and Inter's current draw affair, maybe he could go for another club which is considered a top 3 or top 2 in the league.
He may not go for Real, but he will definitely go for other clubs.
Whatever it is, Inter archievement will determine his departure, whether it's early or not.

I think they mean in Inter. Since Ronaldo is gone Adriano is what came after him. But on a general scale. I think Adriano is good but can not be what Ronaldo is and was.

I think Adriano can replace Ronaldo because he is sitll young and getting better if not greater. If you watched Adriano in Copa America like I did, you can clearly see that without him Brazil would not have won. Adriano is a little tired playing for Inter right now because "coach" Mancini has not given him a break thinking he will magically revive Inter forever. But when Adriano gets his rest after 1 and half whole seasons non stop playing... he will get get that edge that he needs back.
Just give the big guy some time.

Ronaldo is over-rated... Adriano is far, far better than him. Ronaldo used to be a phenomenon back in the day but he's not the same player as he used to be. Injuries have really hampered his career. I would have loved to see Inter vs. Real just so Adriano could prove to Carlos Alberto Parreira that he should be Brasil's main striker for WC 2006 and not Ronaldo. It would be hilarious to see Ronnie get screwed by the club he betrayed. :D I would relegate Ronnie to the bench to tell you the truth and play Adriano up front with Kaka and Ronaldinho in support.

Sorry guys, but Adriano can only dream to be like Ronaldo. I did watch the Copa RM7 and I know that Adriano was a big part of their win, yet, Ronaldo for how he played plays and what he accomplished will always be better.

I think you are jumping to conclusions too soon since Adriano is still very young. Hey, you might be right maybe Adriano will not be as good as Ronaldo, but I think he will be as good as Ronaldo if not better.

in term of skill and pace, adriano will never beat ronaldo... most likely...
but i always think adriano has something that ronaldo doesn't ... winning mentality... this guy saved us from trouble many times... he is a genius in different way... when the team are in desperate, this kind of player will always pull something to save his team or maybe win his team something.... i don't think ronaldo is able to do something like that...
i hope adriano won't become like ronaldo, getting injure too often :p

Skills wise RM7, to have one like Ronaldo it will take ages. Adriano is good but Ronaldo is GOD.

That's right Italianboy. Ronaldo is GOD. I don't understand how can inter fans forget what Ronaldo did for them. Let me ask them when was the last time they won anything? Who won that thing? What had Adriano done for them? Adriano is not and will never be as near as good as Ronaldo was or is.
PS: I am a inter fan myself too but I don't like these comparisons.(cause you can't compare Adriano to Ronaldo. He is not good enough. RONALDO IS GOD.)
