I also do not have a particularly favorite team in the NBA except for the local team.
Los Angeles Lakers.
I think that in order for the Clippers to get better, they need to get out of L.A. The Rams (NFL) were just as bad but definately improved once they left.

kobe generates a lot more money for the lakers than shaq ever did, and kobe is much younger and healthier, but it's gonna be incredibly hard for kobe to win without shaq, especially in the west, even though kobe is an incredible player

yes they beat them by 2 points in overtime and theres no doubt that miami is better because of dwayne wade shaq is as much of a championship winner as kobe is because none of them one championships with another team.....so without kobe shaq is probably gonna win another one if miami can get lucky thanks to dwayne wade but kobe has a long career ahead of and theres no doubt that hes probably gonna win more championship then shaq... :thumbsup:

the reason for that is because there's a lot of good SG like: lebron, AI, pierce, TMac etc. so a good SG isn't such a rarety in the league, but shaq was unstopable during his prime, and even now a big man like that is hard to find, so going by that, shaq is more important to the success of a team

yes a center always needs a sg to pass to when he is double teamed (with l.a he had kobe now he has wade) but like u said shaqs days are as good as over and as soon as kobe finds another good center hes back to winning championships and l.a has a lot of money to get anyone they want.... :thumbsup:

what I meant was that a big dominating center is really hard to come by, but you can find a lot of good shooting guards, I think shaq could have went to any team and that team would automatically become better than L.A. because shaq is the best big man in the league (yao isn't quite there yet, and he plays like he's 6'9', and wallace doesn't put up numbers on offense) but he only has about 2-3 years left (that's if his injuries allow him to play that long) and kobe still has a long time to go, and I think only time will tell if the lakers will ever be able to be the dominant team that they were with shaq

yeah it think so....he made 4 three pointers in a row being triple teamed he just threw it up there and it swished everytime it was amazing i remember half the people already left the building cause they thought the game was over since they were down 12 and there was 35 seconds left..... :)

Yao is not good the only reason he gets points is because hes tall he has no skill if you call standing under the basket and jst tiping shots in skill then your just dumb.He hits the odd long range shot but hes 7foot4 he doesnt need to shoot he needs to dominate the post whoever said hes one of the best players in the league has no basketball iq at all hes not even top 30 players in the nba maybe not even 40 or 50 hes just tall....

There are tons of 7 footers in the game that can't play for shit, even though they do have size, yao is rare exception. This is only his 3rd year in the league and he's constantly improving. It's just a matter of time before he starts putting up shaq-like numbers (btw, he only plays about 30 min a game, just wait till he starts playing 36-38) his numbers will grow drastically. i'm a true nba fan i watch a lot of games including the rockets and all yao has is a little jumper between the rim and the three point line and he is only decent at that...as far as the inside game is concerned he has none what so ever i watch him play inside and he gets striped of the ball so much or he misses a dunk or something and then he just gets mad....its kind of pathetic....hes been in the league for what 3 years now? i think thats enough time to adapt to the game....as far as the minutes are concerned yes he will get a lot more playing time....when shaq leaves though yao is gonna be a force but not a dominating one he is not physically strong enough nor does he know the inside game and i doubt he will learn it all he has is his passing ability and a little jumper that is not gauranteed.. :p

Todays Game between Lakers and Rockets, Is a perfect example of Yao Ming having absolutley no skill. He sucks on Offence And Sucks on Defence. He has a record of "Starter to be benched the most minutes". He has been Benched on average of 35 Minutes per game.
