Rod Stewart has donated his latest platinum disk to Real Madrid?

Real Madrid´s museum has a new ‘treasure’. The English musician Rod Stewart, has donated his latest platinum disk to his friend David Beckham´s Club. Due to scheduling problems, the number ‘23’ player and the famous rocker were not able to meet for it´s delivery. The Madrid team wanted to thank him for his kindness by sending him two signed examples of English player´s shirts. Unfortunately, the bad news was that he couldn´t take part in the "Match Against Poverty", which had included him on it´s list of distinguished guests.
“With my best wishes for Real Madrid, Rod Stewart. The dedication inscribed on the platinum disc - which is given on selling over 100, 000 discs - which the singer has delivered to Real Madrid, is a token of his admiration for the club. At 59, Rod Stewart has always said he was an unconditional fan of David Beckham. Scheduling problems have prevented the two personalities from meeting at Santiago Bernabéu to take it´s delivery. Real Madrid and the number 23, wanted to repay the player´s fellow countryman, and have sent him two shirts, signed by the English international.
Also, the organizers of the "Match against Poverty" had invited the celebrated artist, responsible for hits such as "Blondes have more fun", but his tight schedule prevented him from donning a pair of shorts and fulfilling one off his dreams and playing alongside David Beckham. In the news, Rod Stewart is enjoying the success of his new disc, Stardust. The Great American Songbook Vol.III., which has gone to the top of the charts. All the fans of the rocker can enjoy his husky voice in the Christmas musical programs, and at the two concerts which he is performing in Spain – Madrid, 8th of July; Barcelona, 9th of July.
