The excellent performance of Mario Galinovic and Michalis Konstantinou helped Panathinaikos to beat Chalkidona 2-0 in Neapoli and go one point behind leaders Olympiakos. Konstantinou opened the score with a thundering strike after a Vintra´s cross at the 22nd minute and Galinovic made some magnificent saves after the efforts of the Chalkidona players who also hitted twice the post in the first half. In the beggining of the second half Konstantinou found Scacel inside the box and Katemis brought the Czech down. A penalty was awarded and Markus Munch converted it for another win of the Greek champions.
