I know this post has been a while since written, but i've just read it and i find few comments against korea very offencing, since it was said so out of nowhere just to protect whom they support.

Excuse me, Korea did not cheat, and they did & do have quiet potential to beat any other countries, currently and youth-wise.

Beating german 3-0, and the latest Qatar Youth competition is prove of that. We have bright youngers (as do some other countries).

I stick to supporting my country but i don't want to put down another country in doing so.

If Korea lost, I dont think I'll be flaming the opponent's country, calling them cheaters and sacking their players who play in korea (if they did.)

By saying this, i'm talking about Ahn (takes back to 2002). I wouldn't go spread fake rumours and lose my temper if i lost to a team because i played badly even it seems that refs favoured them a little. the ONLY decision ref has made i think was canclling the goal, but I've read in the forums that other refs agreed they would give same decision from that point of view and such (check the posts for this).

and it's quiet sad to see some people neglect Korean team because they think korea cheated. You should see amount of japanese people crying in their own pride on korean websites, because its been a long while since japan was beaten so badly. (i posted our past youth competition matches record above) The Team's Manager Okuma has stated Korean soccer at youth level was a level above Japanese now. (Many Japanese were outrageous to hear this.)

and my two cents, and mind you i'm not being racist here.

I think Asians with looks from Japan and Korea are more subject to racial insults from the crowd than of Iran, Saudi Arabia, India etc.. When I say this, i mean on the 'Soccer Field', not on streets. I think thats a big turn off for korean players to get used to European Environment. In my opinion, they get it worse than japanese players since Korea isn't as world wise powerful as japan. (Ok, we're growing, and I heard Samsung's Import Incomes or mobile phone selling rates beat Nokia in Europe just last year, don't flame me if u disagree).

Seol Gi Hyun in Wolverines was insulted with racist comments in their latest game against FC(mi.. something, sorry i can't spell). Seol didn't say this himself, It was said at an interview by the captain of Wolverines.

It would be alright if it was the cheering, but I think racial insults are something that is really put off for overseas-stars in Europe to grow in.

if you think korea cheated. show some proof. go get some quotes from some credible sources. dont just barge in here and show your jealousy because Iran cant do crap on a international level.

I could prolly find 5 pages of good information when the World Cup was over proving the game was horribly called or "rigged". No Korea representing Asia did a bad job. They gave the Europeans the right to consider asian soccer inferior. We will have to redeem ourseleves in W06.
