Why is a receipt request necessary in order to send a PM?
For some reason I cannot send or reply to a PM without a receipt request. Why?

Yeh I think is an useless feature, but well......
Does it not give you the option?

I do have the option, I always request a receipt, but not always is confirmed, even when I know the message has been read, that's why I say it's not the best feature around.

I don't get an option.
If I select to not have a receipt the message will not send.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Are you sure?? Try to wait a little after you hit 'No'

Ok, I've got it, we're supposed to hit "cancel" when prompted - a little misleading, I suppose.
