I've got agree with the woolen poster who started the thread. It's unbelievable the way the rest of Scotland is overlooked by the two disgraceful clubs that dominate Scotland.
Aberdeen are just as cocky about themselves, though, pal.

But don't forget the Dandy Dons took points off of Rangers so they are better then them at least...

How can u say that because a team take points off another in a one off match that means they r a better team. Rangers haven't beaten my team Dundee Uts for two seasons now, does that mean we should be playing Porto, Inter and Artmedia in the Champions League, I seriously doubt it.
No matter how much we deny it the old firm do dominate Scottish Football, although it is to see both Hearts and Hibs up there challenging. Unfortunately though because of the vast financial gap and the huge differnce in fan base size, whilst the old firm remain in Scottish Football this will never change!!

totally correct scotty..as long as there is religious bigotry there will always be a rangers and celtic and they will always dominate.
if more people supported their home town team it may be a bit more even!
in my opinion most old firm fans support those clubs because they r either bigots or glory hunters!!!

I wouldn't necessarily agree about the bigot thing, not that I'm saying it's not rife. But it is a lot to do with tradition, supporting the team that ur family support, just like nay other team. But when you consider the fan base of the old firm compared to other teams it's obvious that that supperiority will always continue.

Ah!!! And I thought I was the only non-OF fan on here. Rangers and Celtic strive on the bigotry that they produce despite their lame attempts to claim otherwise (a-la Bhoys aginst Bigotry).
The sooner they move to England the better. I'll thoroughly enjoy watching the F.O.D getting horsed by West Brom and Sunderland and when they come crawling back after a few years of winning hee-haw I'll happily tell them where they can go.
And incedentally, if Mr Romanov stops taking the crazy pills, maybe Hearts might be asking to join the Premiership.
Actually, I think I've taken that too far!!

I disagree with the fact that Rangers and Celtic are to join the EPL. They are NOT english (even though Rangers think they are). Under no circumstances should teams be allowed to move to another country to play. The only way i could see it being "RIGHT" to switch to another country is if the SPL went down the pan..and it wont happen.
The gap between the OF and the rest of SPL teams is closing all the time. Rangers and Celtic have not got the same authority over the rest of the sides as they used to for the last few years. Remember Aberdeen and Dundee UTD were a force in Scottish football in the 80s. Lifetime ago for some but not that long ago really. Competition in Scottish football is improving all the time. Sometimes inconsistency is the downfall.
SPL will never go away.
Above is my opinion so careful how you all crusify me! lol

I dont think they will ever go to the premiership, they are scottish and belong in the scottish league. however i dont see how uefa or fifa would be able to block them if the english invited them in.they have welsh teams playing in their leagues so why not scottish ones!!
