I know there are threads like Ronaldo or this, or Ronaldo or that.
i was watching a documentary on ronaldo last night showing him before he got his knee injured. He deserves his nick name "el Fenomeno". I think that you cannot even compare anyone wit Ronaldo of that time. It is normal that after the knee problem he cannot be the same anymore, but it is a disgrace to even compare Henry at his peak now e.g. with old Ronaldo. You can only compare them with the actual Ronaldo.

He was simply the best man. And now with all that happen to him, he is still schooling top teams like ManU etc. O FENOMENO IS GOD! :D

Of course, I knew that long time ago, Ronaldo at his peak had no match.

At his prime, I agree, but right now there are better strikers than him, Sheva is one of them.

I don't think so. I just think that Sheva is much more motivated than Ronaldo. I mean he has not won anything yet compared to what Ronaldo has won and Sheva is not magic in any way. He is just a great player but still remains in the limits of humanity. Sheva is also older than Ronaldo.

I think that Ronaldo still has it, he has just gotten lazy.

Ronaldo was at his best when he played for Barcelona, he schooled La Liga that season.

his first season in Milan was good then he got whacked and everything went to the crapper for him.

right now he's good, but i agree on the 'there are better strikers than him' i personally like Van Nistelrooij, when he's healthy he's dangerous.

Sheva has no magic, but you don't have to have magic in order to be a great player, and Sheva has won the Scudetto and the Champions League, he can't win anything with his NT though, but you can't really blame him for that.....

And yes, Sheva is older than Ronaldo, but I also think that right now Sheva's better.

the diference between Ronaldo and Shevshenko is that Sheva is just stronger than Ronaldo.

Sheva has proven to be one of the elite players in the world for winning and surviving the Serie A. not a lot players can deal with the physical italian game, Ronaldo couldn't do it, and others end up hanging the boots due to serios injuries. (van Basten, Redondo...)

Then I think that Sheva should consider starting a boxing career or even wrestling after soccer... lol!!!

I don't think that you should consider a player's street fighting abilities when evaluating his game...

When i was watching a documentary on Robinho I tought he may be compared with Ronaldo even in his prime. This kid made almost half a team look like fools when show them some tricks with the ball. Yeah this was against brazilians and he has not prooved himself on the big scene but from what i saw there's not many defenders that can stop such runs and with technique like his i hope he'll be the next "FENOMENO" (playing for Real).

Also Ronaldo is really different from Sheva and van Nistelroy he may not score as goals as them (this season) but i still prefer a stricker with exellent dribling and technique skills then just finishing (often just waiting) in front of the goal (or heading) this is not the style of attacker Madrid need. Better lose playing pretty than win with 10 in defence

I totally agree with Boko. We don't want to become like Juventus do we ?

haha i think anybody who retires after 5 or more seasons in the Italian league should start a whole new career as a wrestler. :D
