there is no escape from it.........
The team needs subs in LB, Wing positions & a *er in CM position or else the team will suffer in the long run and will end up TROPHYLESS like last season, there is still time, Perez should change his decision of not signing any players in the winter & should look at what the team's needs r.....
1 thing I can be sure of, if Real beats Roma, they will play very well in their La Liga matches also, it was very obvious they didnt care 4 the Villareal game, and the 1 point is a GIFT 4 them because they didnt even deserve it, and as long as they r under 10 points difference with Barca, they have a SOLID chance 2 catch up, but Barca has 2 slip up(I hope the recovering Sociedad & Valencia give them trouble).....
the bottom line is, REAL MUST GET PLAYERS IN JANUARY OR ELSE 4GET ABOUT WINNING ANYTHING...........

I think we need them, but I also think Perez won't sign anyone. So it'll be very hard for us to get any kind of silverware.....

I think Real needs to pump up thir defence or it's gonna be tough... Perez better do something about it... :ronaldo:

There's Samuel and Woodgate, Helguera is good too, there's no need to strengthen our defense anymore, what we need is the old Makelele back (or a proper replacement.....)
Agent offers Real Madrid Cassano, Totti
An agent acting on behalf of AS Roma stars Antonio Cassano and Francesco Totti has offered both players to Real Madrid for the January transfer window.
Marca says the intermediary possesses forms giving him the right to negotiate a transfer with Real on behalf of the two Roma attackers.
Both players are rated over £15 million each and its understood Real chiefs have discussed their transfers in the last week.
The agent was pressing for a deal to be done next month, but Real are happy to wait, well aware of Roma's growing financial problems.

This is crazy, if we sign them it's gonna be the same thing as always, where are you gonna put them? For sure Cassano will be a bench-warmer, and Totti will play right back or defensive mid for sure......

we need to sign a CM and a left back this january...but i don't think the will sign one and when they become trophyless this season then perez will bring in great players.

I agree. What is the point of signing forwards when the teams weakness is it's midfield? I say trade off figo for Zanetti / Davids and put Beckham on the right (he's only good on the right -- not as good as figo, but he'll do) That would be a phenomenal transfer I think!
Strangely enough, doesn't it seem like Davids should be earning frequent flyer miles with the amount of times he's changed clubs?

Seems like your dreams are becoming truth man, there's a rumour of a trade, Figo for Zanetti AND Davids.

I would hate 2 see Figo go they should just get Davids & put Becks next 2 him in CM(Davids is THE 1 who brought Barca back 2 its good form last season), Zanetti can also play in CM but he is 2 old and I think we need Figo more than him..........
Davids/Mascherano/Van Bommell/Gerrard, 1 of these players is a MUST, my 1st choice would be Gerrard, then Davids, then Mascherano then Van Bommell...

Real Madrid claim deal for Arsenal's Lauren
Real Madrid are on the verge of nicking Lauren from Arsenal next month.
The Sun says the Cameroon ace's Highbury deal runs out in the summer and Real claim he has already put pen to paper.
Madrid president Florentino Perez said: "Lauren will play for Real Madrid next season because his contract will expire. We have him signed."

I don't think Figo would join any english leagues... simply because he's too good.
I think Figo should stay with Real Madrid until the end of his career... which isn't too far away and making a move from the greatest club in the world won't make his career any better.

That's true, only way he could play in the starting XI would be either as centre mid or right back, which would be complete waste of talent, and don't even mention Cassano! he wouldn't even play.
