I think that Becham should not be part of first 11. he is a very good player, but out of position with REAL. I think we should play as we played 2-nd half against Leverkusen.

Becham should be just a fixed sub for Figo, and a future replacement.
We can alternate one of the DM with Guti depending on the opponent.
Fixed sub between the morientes and owen.

I just realized then in the second formation i had 12 palyers. Then remove either one of the DM or one of the forwards, again depending on specific games and opponents.

I think Becks can be very useful with free kicks and corner kicks, but the 4mation should change, something like:

what becks has 2 do is run and cross the ball, leave the dribbling 2 figo & zidane, because real rarely plays on crosses which could be very useful...

As I said Becham can be a fixed sub for figo and have him in every match in the last at least 30 min. Then when Figo retires, Becham can play in his natural position which is right advance winger.

they already r getting Robinho to be Figo's replacement, I think when Van Bommell arrives Becks can play by his side & Zidane goes back 2 being on left, there has to be atleast 1 player in the DM position who can go forward with the ball, Van Bommell cant.

they desperately need a DM, beckham is playing completely out of his position and his role, beckham is not a ball winner, he shouldn't hold the role as a DM, his offensive game is suffering from it, and he doesn't really have the freedom to play his game, I think he can stay in the middle, but he needs a quality DM alongside of him so that becks doesn't need to worry about staying back

With players like Luis Figo and Robinho coming, I do not think Beckham will ever have a permanent place in the right midfield or wing. The most he can do now, is play in the central midfield like what he is doing now.

And no, we shouldn't play without Beckham. He is very useful in attacks and dead ball opportunities. He maybe a bit quiet now because he has marking and defensive duties to do, but once we get a defensive midfielder, he can be unleashed to a more attacking side.

I would opt Beckham over Guti or Celades anytime in a attacking midfielder sense.

Zidane will be back to his usual left or sometimes can swap with Raul when he is not playing. In some matches, I have seen Beckham making good runs in the penalty boxes and make penetrating passes. He is better in attack obviously so, he should start training as a CAM since the Right Midfield spot is virtually out of graps for him.
