I dont get this, Roberto Carlos was a target of racist remarks by Barca fans at Nou Camp but dont they have Ronaldinho in their team????? How does it work? Does any1 know about this?
Well they do it to break down the player, not really to insult his "race"..
Tbh i find it odd that ronaldhino puts up with his own fans racially abusing his countrymen given his personality.. I'd walk off the pitch tbh

maybe it has also something to do with Ronaldo's being ex-Barça's man.
And I too think it's not all about his "race" but team. Still two men with normal manners should get along even if they have different opinions about such big thing as football.

I don't get it either, if the fans were throwing racial insults to Carlos, why Ronaldinho didn't care about that, being of the same race or nationality than him??

exactly, he didnt even bother about it!!!! and how would he feel playing the next game at Nou Camp knowing the crowd is racist and were abusing his teammate Roberto Carlos??? That must have bothered him

1 more thing has 2 stop, barca fans have 2 get a LIFE and get over the fact that Figo left them 4 Real, its so STUPID that they still hold a grudge, I hope Figo scores in the home game against Barca 2 make their pathetic fans suffer more...

it's alright if the fans just boo, that's just part of the professional game, but once there is racism, it becomes a big problem

Professionals have to deal with that all the time, the fans were hurt when he left for madrid and they have no intention of forgiving him, it's like if raul were to go barcelona, I'm sure the madrid fans would never forgive him either. If Figo were to leave them for another team, it maybe would be different, but to join their most hated rivals is perhaps still tough to swallow for some fans.

I just think that this racist bs from the few disturbing fans really has to stop somehow. It has absolutely no place in the game. It's all about hiring the best man for the job when you're managing a european team and the fans should respect that. Those of African heritage or whoever else shouldn't be condemned for their ethnicity. It sends a bad message... and hopefully people don't assume that the spaniards are racist. It's just only a few bad apples that ruin the whole image.

wrong comparison, Raul is a Spanish player, Figo was an outsider anyways, him going to another club shouldnt have hurt Barca fans, yes, if Puyol goes to Real then I can understand but shouldnt be the case with Figo, not after 3 years.........

I understand it's a little different since raul is home bred, so it would be even worse if he left, but the gyst of my argument is that figo is seen as a traitor, so they won't forgive him untill he retires.

I think that the whole thing of Figo is fine, Barca fans are still annoyed because of his move, but I think is part of the game, and I like when he's booed in Nou Camp, but the other day when they throwed him objects, now that's wrong.
