Couple Of Things

Hi everyone.
Two questions. The first one is, do you allow people to post links to personal websites on this forum? I don't plan to spam each and every forum. I want to simply post a link in the appropriate forum to my site to see if anyone is interested.

Second of all, how did you guys create such a huge forum with so many users? I am myself trying to set up a forum at the moment and am looking for tips on how to make my site/board successful.
