Cardozo leaving....

In his ten year reign in toluca they have won for titles and scored 200+ goals. Not to mention that Cardozo was the goal scorer of the world in 2002 with 50+ goals. Now he is leaving....simple as that...he is leaving.

Now he is supposed to be going to Hiroshima supposedly for large sums of money. And all this for some problems with the D.T ferreti. What are your opinions? And how do you think it will affect toluca? They beat puebla this week 1-0 without him.

well, I think that Cardozo is to old, :evil: Toluca should get a stronger gun. Toluca doesn't need him anymore thay can win with him or without him. They beat puebla 1-0.

I wasn't attacking Cardozo. He's obviously doing what he feels he needs to do.
My post was about how everyone feels that playing professional soccer is all about pride. That it's about how a player represents a city, a team, a nation.
Don't get me wrong, it probably should be about pride and honor, etc.
However, the fact is that professional players play for money. Who wouldn't play for the team that pays them the most?
