I follow the NBA sometimes, mainly the Sacramento Kings because they have to Yugoslavs on the team(Vlada & Predrag).

I also follow the European Basketball, Partizan being my favurite ream :)

Divac and Stojkovic are great players. Just one thing Divac said annoyed me. When the Jazz beat the Kings in the first round last year, Divac stated that his team was the better team. I thought that was a pointless comment because they had just been beaten, and they were beaten soundly in overtime. No offense, Grobar Otago! Has nothing to do with his ethnic background! :)

Although I admit that the Bulls used to be a good team, I am just still upset how they beat the Jazz twice in a row in the NBA Finals. I'm not mad that they were the better team or anything, but the referee's made bad calls in Game 6 in 1997 that cost the Jazz the NBA Championship.

Yeah, the referees cheated badly in the final games. It was something like, they didn't count Howard Eisely's (Jazz) three that he shot on time, and they did count Ron Harper's (Bulls) two pointer that he shot after the buzzer. Then the Bulls went on to win that game by 2-0. !!!! :mad: :mad:

Vince Carter and the Toronto Raptors will take it this year. Well, maybe not win it, but I think they'll make some waves. They just have to keep concentration and not get into a rut so quickly. They do seem to have some really bad stretches during games.

Who remembers that series between Jazz and Rockets in the semi finals 97(I think) ??? They scored a last second 3 pointer to advance to the finals but they lost against the Bulls, it was Jordans last season then..

Why do I have the feeling that NBA is some advanced form of BasketBall ? I mean watch any other league from any other country and you have this feeling to shout out "YUCK", boring games.
