Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie claims he has changed his game to focus on becoming a goalscoring rather than a ball-winning midfielder.
Hendrie, who hit his fourth goal in five games in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Everton, said: "Every time I go on the pitch now I just think 'goals'.
"I have confidence to have a go when I see the chance and I'm the leading scorer now, which is hard to believe.
"I'm a midfielder but I can't even tackle a fish supper, I'm that bad."
Hendrie believes his success is down to a more selfish attitude in front of goal and he is delighted with the results.
He added: "Last season I would have tried to play someone else into the box.
"I'd have looked to do something else with the ball rather than risk a shot.
"But now I feel differently about it. I know I should score more goals and I'm looking to do that."
