I am pretty that in a bicycle kick you land on your back and do almost a backflip and in a scisors kick you do it more sideways.... but i'm not sure on that.... :rolling:

Bicycle kick is when your back is parallel to the ground, and your feet are usually kicking the ball at 90* angle from the ground.

Scissors kick is when your back is perpendicular with the ground and you kick the ball with your feet at an 180* angle from the ground.

I always thought that when you do the scissors it's when you cross your foot over the ball.

There's also a scissor volley that is straight on. You jump to meet the ball and then as your front leg volleys you back leg snaps back so that both legs are level and akin to a regular shot from a standing position. The legs split outward like a pair of scissors and this helps keep the ball low.
