I think this one will be a 2-1 to Arsenal. Here's the news and preview ahead of the match later:

BBC Sport - 02.11.04
Arsenal v. Panathinaikos
Arsenal striker Jose Antonio Reyes is carrying a hand injury but will be passed fit to face Panathinaikos.
But Brazilian midfielder Edu has been ruled out after picking up a calf problem on Saturday.
Defender Sol Campbell continues to struggle with an Achilles problem, but Dennis Bergkamp should be available.
Greece international Yannis Goumas has a strained muscle and misses out for Panathinaikos while fellow defender Markus Munch is out with a calf injury.

Head-to-head

Arsenal and Panathinaikos have met seven times before in European competition.
The Gunners have dominated Panathinaikos winning five times, drawing once and losing once.
This sole draw came two weeks ago, on 20 October 2004, when the Gunners drew 2-2 in Greece.
Arsenal have a perfect home record against Panathinaikos with three wins from three matches.
These three victories consist of two 2-1 wins in the CL (1998/1999 and 2001/2002) and a 1-0 triumph in the 1981/1982 Uefa Cup.
The only other Greek side, besides Panathinaikos, that Arsenal have ever hosted was PAOK in the 1997/1998 Uefa Cup. This match resulted in a 1-1 draw, making PAOK the only Greek team so far to take points away from Highbury.
The current Arsenal squad contains eight players who played against Panathinaikos in 2001.
They are: Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole, Lauren, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires, Fredrik Ljungberg, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp. Henry scored both goals for Arsenal in the home match.
Vieira and Bergkamp also played in the September 1998 fixture against Panathinaikos.
Five of Panathinaikos' current squad were also present during the 2001 encounter with Arsenal. They are: René Henriksen, Sotris Kyrgiakos, Angelos Bassinas, Michalis Konstantinou and Emmanuel Olisadebe.
Olisadebe scored Panathinaikos' only goal at Highbury in a 2-1 defeat.
The 25-year-old Olisadebe also scored Panathinaikos' second goal in the first leg of this year's CL encounter.
Panathinaikos' best result in seven matches on English soil was a 1-1 draw against Everton in the quarter-finals of the 1970/1971 Champions Cup.
The six other away matches against Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool all resulted in defeats for the Greek club.
Overall Arsenal have a positive record against Greek teams with five wins, two draws and two defeats.

European history

Arsenal's best result in the Champions League is reaching the quarter-finals (2000/2001 and 2003/2004). The Londoners are making their seventh appearance in the CL main competition.
Last year they were eliminated by Chelsea in the quarter-finals (3-2 on aggregate).
Arsenal's European trophies are the 1969/1970 Fairs Cup and the 1993/1994 Cup Winners' Cup.
The Londoners have never gone without defeat in the (first) group phase.
In 2000/2001, it took until their sixth outing for the Gunners to lose a match in the competition.
Panathinaikos' best result in European competitions is finishing runners-up in the 1970/1971 Champions Cup after losing 2-0 to Ajax in the final.
Panathinaikos have participated in the Champions League on five previous occasions, their best result being a semi-final berth in the 1995/1996 season, when they were again eliminated by Ajax.
Last year the Greek side finished third in their CL group and were later eliminated by Auxerre in the third round of the Ueafa Cup.

Current European form

The Gunners are second in Group E with five points from three matches.
Panathinaikos are in third place, a point behind. They beat Rosenborg before suffering a defeat at PSV and drawing against Arsenal.
Arsenal are one of seven teams still undefeated after three matches. The other six unbeaten sides are Juventus, Internazionale, AC Milan, Olympique Lyon, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Panathinaikos have conceded at least one goal in each of their last 10 matches in the Champions League.
Arsenal have scored at least one goal in each of their last 11 Champions League matches.
The last CL match in which Arsenal failed to score was on 30 September 2003 when they recorded a 0-0 draw away to Lokomotiv Moscow.

Player and disciplinary info

No players are suspended for this match, and no player will be suspended for the next match upon receiving a single yellow card in this match.
Angelos Bassinas and Dimitrios Papadopoulos are the two players in the current Panathinaikos squad to have played for Greece at Euro 2004.
Goalkeeper Kostas Chalkias and defender Yannis Goumas were also along for the ride, but did not get on the field in Portugal.
Thierry Henry is king of the last minute goal in the Champions League. The Frenchman has netted four times in the last minute.
Arsenal's Thierry Henry (32 goals) and Fredrik Ljungberg (12 goals) are the CL top scorers in the current Arsenal squad.
Michalis Konstantinou is Panathinakos' main scoring threat with eight CL goals to his name. However, he is yet to score in this year's competition.
Ezequil Gonzales has scored three goals in three CL matches for the Greeks this season.

Other miscellaneous facts

Arenal lead the Premiership on goal difference from Chelsea.
Panathinaikos won 4-0 against Panionios at the weekend.
Panathinaikos are now second in the Greek league, a point behind leaders AEK Athens.
Panathinaikos and Israeli coach Itzhak Shum parted ways on Monday 4 October.
Last season, Shum guided the Athens club to the double consisting of league title and domestic cup.
The league crown was Panathinaikos' first in eight years. At the time of Shum's departure, Panathinaikos were top in the Greek league table, sporting a perfect nine points from their opening three matches.
This match will mark the 150th match for Arsenal in European competitions. In the previous 149 matches the Gunners have recorded 70 wins, 37 draws and 42 defeats.
Arsenal are also two goals shy of recording their 250th goal in European competitions. They have scored 109 Champions League / Champions Cup goals, 48 Cup Winners' Cup goals and 91 Uefa Cup goals.

Deserved to miss it, he was getting a bit too cocky before the kick - did you see him grinning and winking? :silly:
Disappointing result once more, but in terms of the CL especially no reason to worry yet. We're in a qualifying position for the next round and yet to lose.

Have faith, my friend. :smoking:
Without meaning to sound too arrogant, we are a better team than the others in Group E, I've got a feeling we'll show it soon. The bouncebackability starts this weekend against Palace...

Wenger shares my opinion:

BBC Sport - 03.11.04
Wenger calm despite setback
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger refused to panic after his side were pegged back to a 1-1 draw by Panathinaikos in the Champions League.
Wenger did admit concern over his side's inability to hold onto a lead but said: "If we panic then the whole of Europe should be panicking."
Wenger's team are second in Group E and he added: "We don't consider the catastrophic issue of not qualifying.
"I believe in the strength of my team and I'm confident we will do it."
Wenger's side took the lead through a Thierry Henry penalty and saw Angelos Basinas miss a spot-kick at the other end before a Pascal Cygan own goal allowed the Greek side to equalise.
"You cannot say that you are happy when you don't win. I feel that everything went against us," said Wenger.
"We were a little bit unlucky. I cannot accuse the team of giving chances away. We conceded that goal at a bad moment because they were in a position where they had to come out.
"When they got back to 1-1 they cut the game, put defenders on and that changed the game after that.
"Panathinaikos are a good side, they have a big squad, many international players and they were well organised and defended very well.

"One more win WILL do. Remember last year after a dismal start, Arsenal were great."
-SKG

"We have lost one game in the whole season and we know we can play better going forward and we will again."
Panathinaikos twice came back in the reverse tie and their manager Zdenek Scasny was delighted at again holding Arsenal to a draw.
He said: "I want to congratulate my players for their performance. I am happy because now all the possibilities are open for qualification into the next round.
"We could have won the game if you consider that we missed a penalty so I am happy with the result. "

Well the Arse haven't played all that well since losing to United. Perhaps it's just one of those funks that teams go through from time to time. Happens in every sport. And to be fair Cygan does have a big head.
